lies are bad. Lying is one of the many reasons I hate Mitt Romney. Lying and lack of transparency is a tool of the 1% and a majority of politicians.

Lying and lack of transparency is one of the reasons the bullshit continues. Like when they say they're not killing innocent people in foreign countries and that they're working for peace while they bomb multiple countries. A lot of people believe what their politicians tell them.

Also not showing your tax records is LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND LYING

There are more than the 2 failed option in 2012. Believe it or not Bush era propaganda is false. Bush once said "If you're not with us, you're with the enemy."

You can indeed oppose both the enemy and Bush.

Just like you can oppose both Romney and Obama.

I dont want my liver removed
I dont want my kidney removed
but I have the courage to make a choice
do you?

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

I have the courage not to believe in propaganda provided by money in politics.

I will never vote for anyone that has a pro-war agenda.

Look at your ballot in November. There will be more than 2 options to vote for as president.

Don't you realize what that bensdad thing is?

[-] 2 points by TitusMoans (2451) from Boulder City, NV 12 years ago

As I've pointed out to Romney supporters, when they defend their candidate for not releasing his tax returns by attacking Obama's failed promises and obvious lies, honesty is not quid pro quo. A crook is a crook, and both major candidates are crooks.

[-] 0 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

Do you have the courage to vote for the best ELECTABLE candidate?
or is it just more fun to call people crooks?

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

"Do you have the courage to vote for the best ELECTABLE crook? or is it just more fun to call people crooks?"

Apathetic people are ruining this country...

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

john boehner is apathetic?
eric cantor is apathetic?
paul ryan is apathetic?
louis gomert is apathetic?
tell their employers - david & charlie - so they work harder to stop America's prgress!

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

I said ruining, not running.

[-] -1 points by NS88 (-23) 12 years ago

I think you might be right. Afterall, Pelosi/Reid/Wassermannshultz is SO caring about the Amerikan people...

[-] 1 points by TitusMoans (2451) from Boulder City, NV 12 years ago

I don't enjoy calling people, especially the representatives or our nation, crooks at all, but I won't deny the facts either. So, you're saying we should settle for the status quo, because Obama is the candidate most favorable to our views. That's fine, but then there isn't any real way of ever breaking out of the current situation, and Marx was right, the oppressors will continue to exploit the working class, until the latter have no way out but revolution.

Help us do what 80% of Americans want - get money out of politics

[-] 2 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

By voting for the same people who accept that money? We need to vote outside the box, instead of the same two boxes we have been voting for the last 40 years.

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

david & charles want YOU to vote outside the box

[-] 2 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

To continue your sentence, "So Romney will win". Exactly what the gang leaders (party leaders) on both sides want us to believe. The republicans use the identical words to keep their members voting republican.

In this respect, both parties are the same. Using fear to keep their power intact. Without your membership in "their" party, you become powerful and they become weak. Decide for yourself. A community living under the tyranny of two street gangs, or one under the authority of the citizens!

[-] 0 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

are there ANY things that would have been done better in the last thtree years by willard?
ANYTHING?

[-] 2 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

You know I don't support Romney. Why can't you see anything besides the two parties? Independents, those people not affiliated with any party are more numerous than either the Dems or Reps with about 40%. We are the other (non)party, and we are growing.

I bet strengthening the Patriot Act would have been a tie. Obama set the bar high with that one.

[-] 2 points by TitusMoans (2451) from Boulder City, NV 12 years ago

Well, the Supreme Court struck that one down. They, too, are bought and paid for. The whole framework of our current system is askew. All candidates, who gather a minimum amount of signatures for each level of office, should have equal, publicly paid media space. No private campaign contributions or donations should be allowed.

Recalls should be quick and easy for any political-office holder, and the judiciary should be handled in exactly the same way. None of the lifetime term nonsense. That may have been fine when average life-expectancy was 45, but justices now sit on the court until they literally wither away, completely out of touch with mainstream America.

[-] 2 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

I'd love to recall CROOKS like scalia & thomas
but I believe in reality
it will NEVER happen
what CAN happen is what 80% of Americans already say they want
overturn citizens united
poll data & full documentation &
35 videos including Lessig, Sanders, Chomsky, Feingold, Hartmann, Warren

government programs cost money

[-] 2 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

I said get money ( that is not the peoples' ) out of politics
Overturn Citizens United & corporate personhood
what 80% want
http://corporationsarenotpeople.webuda.com

[-] 2 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 12 years ago

yes by the poll that asked the question that politicians have been pushing as a problem since before I was born

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

You might check out Rocky Anderson. His views are the closest to Occupy's I've seen, much closer than Obama.

http://www.voterocky.org/solutions

[-] 2 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

I may agree with Anderson very solidly.
I agree very solidly with Lincoln, Washington, FDR, and Elizabeth Warren
voting for any of these FIVE will have exactly the same effect
It will make me feel good - and do nothing for America

[-] 2 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

Because the majority choose the lesser evil, they guarantee evil will rule! And you are among the majority with the power to choose good for once. But the fear that the majority has been taught to believe prevents them from breaking out.

Like two groups of prisoners in two separate cells. Both have the key, but are afraid to use it.

[-] 0 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Bad analogy. The 2 parties control the electoral process. How do you propose we get enough people to Vote into power the non 2 party politicians in enough numbers (50 senators, 235 House reps) that they will change the process?

What does a cell (party) and key (?) have to do with that?

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

Parties are an easy issue -
but they are not THE issue
So what if Warren, Whitehose, Grayson, Clyburn are D
They are great representatives

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

True 'dat!

And does Bernie Sanders caucus/vote with Dems.?

There's a measure!

How about Kucinich? Do we like him?

[-] 1 points by TitusMoans (2451) from Boulder City, NV 12 years ago

Thanks. I'll check it out.

[-] 0 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 12 years ago

I helping to try to get Rocky a ballor spot in Florida.

Its amazing the corrupted things these two parties have colluded in to keep outsiders from having a voice.

[-] 1 points by jrhirsch (4714) from Sun City, CA 12 years ago

Hope he gets on the ballot. Rocky isn't even listed properly on Wikipedia. His name is there, but no picture. If someone was looking for potential alternatives they would likely overlook him.

Just goes to show choices we have here in the U.S.A..

Should I drink the poison, or should I drink some poison?

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

Are you a born-again who will only vote for anti-choice people
because your born-again church told you to?
Are you a gun nut who will only vote for pro-gun people
because your nra church told you to?
Are you a homophobet who will only vote for hetero people
because your church told you to?

I would suggest NOT being part of the OWS religion.
Don't vote for the people that OWS tell you to vote for.
Don't vote for the people who will make you feel better.
Vote for the people who will make America better.

Some people may find the choice difficult, all candidates
have flaws - but one is ALWAYS BETTER FOR AMERICA.

[-] 0 points by Shule (2638) 12 years ago

I'll vote for Obama.

[-] 1 points by JusticeF0rTrayvon (-58) 12 years ago

I was wondering how you justify voting for either of the lying idiots running.

[-] 0 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

I could write a thousand words but since neither is an "idiot" - I will simply answer in two letters GM

[-] 0 points by JusticeF0rTrayvon (-58) 12 years ago

Oh, okay, I get it now, you support O-bomb-ya because you are selfish and don't want to have to work for Ford.

What about my workplace, which has been gutted because of his and the Republicans disasterous, theiving policies?

[-] 0 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

HOW is your workplace gutted?

[-] -1 points by JusticeF0rTrayvon (-58) 12 years ago

Two words: incandescent bulbs.

[-] 0 points by NS88 (-23) 12 years ago

Yes, I'm sure none of your democrat masters ever lie. Stop being a slave.

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

Have you ever noticed how some people say "they lie"
"they steal" no politician is totally honest
but one electable candidate is always better than the other
and THAT is the truth
but you can't handle the truth
PROVE ME WRONG

[-] 0 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 12 years ago

since the beginning

its an interesting point about saying someones private information is now used against them for not disclosing whether they are successful or not. A. Shall we vote for a man who is successful or B. Shall we vote for a man who isnt succesful? I say the latter could be better, let me explain why. Take a person who has tried and failed, i believe his eyes will be opened to what is truly wrong with the lack of "small business loans" that need to be 100% collateralized, or the lack of financing available for large contracts that are awarded to small business but again there lacks funding in the industry, or even if that small business, manages to get funding thru an ira withdrawal, the early withdrawal penalty shuts down the finance of that small business. Now, in comparison if Mitt Romney had a silver spoon in his mouth, and alot of financial backing, of course he is going to be more successful, but does that mean he represents the majority of us who are still struggling? HELL NO, thats why I prefer one who failed in business over one who succeeded.

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

willard's "success" has nothing to do with it
we elected and re-elected multimilionaires FDR Reagan JFK, etc. willards father released 12 years
WHY WONT HE RELEASE 5-10 YEARS
how can his $6,000 a year IRA grow to $50,000,000?
Are there years when his 15% rate is high
maybe he paid no tax
transparency - and even more importantly HONESTY
is the foundation of OWS

gordon gekko, alec, david, chales, sheldon
are the foundations of willard

[-] 2 points by brightonsage (4494) 12 years ago

Well done, again, bensdad.

[-] -1 points by bearclaw (-152) 12 years ago

Vote for the people who lie in their ads or hide their financial info!!!!! That would be both parties (dems / repubs)
