Forum Post: Vote Against those Who Failed to Represent You--Sweep them all out of office.

It shows a naivete or a lack of education that OWS focuses its ire on Wall Street. The bankers (and military defense complex) are getting their money in a legal way. What you SHOULD be angry about is that your political representatives failed to do their job--which is to enforce laws that are for the good of society.

If I were in charge of OWS, I would focus on removing and replacing the majority of the politicians that allowed consumer/financial protections to lapse, and thus destroyed the world's financial system.

When you think about it, it's logical. If the guys who are paying for your campaign want you to do something, how will you keep your job if you tell them "No"? Money talks. Do something about the way politicians get and keep their jobs, and then you'll see change.

If you tell politicians they can only serve one term, that will solve much of the problems we face today. They will actually focus on doing the right thing rather than do what will get the re-elected.

In each race, we need to pick the better/ least "bought" candidate. We have very few candidates now that are completely unbought. I think of it as a training exercise - training politicians to pay attention to the 99%.

I suppose now would be a good time to see if 'write-in' votes really mean something.
