Forum Post: very big news about Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Posted 12 years ago on Feb. 26, 2012, 10:43 a.m. EST by bensdad (8977)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Iranian Mullahs ( who really run the country ) stripped all of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's party off of the upcoming March 2 Iranian elections.
This will not only cut this maniac's power, a new parliament might even impeach Mahmoud Ahmadinejad !
No way will there be any hostilities until the dust settles.
Israel may even see the Mullahs' move as an olive branch.

This is very good news. Thanks for posting it.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

Um.........I don't know how to break this out but, Ahmadinejad never had the power that people assumed that he did.

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

I know the Mullahs run things. I feel that if they extract the maniac, the face of Iran, they may be more responsive to sanity and the very pro- American youth in Iran

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

Um.........again, he has never had the power that people say that he has.

directing action is easier with a target

[-] 0 points by Pujete (160) from New York, NY 12 years ago

More likely that Ahmadinejad is too accommodating towards the West and we've lost one of the few people we could have delt with diplomatically.

[-] -1 points by Carlitini99 (-167) 12 years ago

are you crazy, accomodating to the west? he has killed more americans than the Soviets ever did. Kill Mahmoud ,two bullets to the head then dump him in the ocean a la bin laden.

[-] 0 points by Pujete (160) from New York, NY 12 years ago

When were we at war with the Soviets?

[-] 0 points by forjustice (178) from Kearney, NE 12 years ago

When were we at war with Iran?

[-] 1 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

we armed Saddam Hussein during the Iran/Iraq war in '78-79, that was right after Iran gave us the boot. We fought them through a proxy war, Kinda like the Afganistan war, where we funded osama bin ladden to fight the Russians as part of the Cold war.

[-] 2 points by forjustice (178) from Kearney, NE 12 years ago

I know. I thought I was being funny. I meant to highlight the similar approach between how we dealt with the one and currently deal with the other.

[-] -1 points by Carlitini99 (-167) 12 years ago

the cold war you dumb ass

[-] 0 points by Pujete (160) from New York, NY 12 years ago

How many Americans were killed by the Soviets?...Maybe a few pilots in dogfights during the Korean war, but not as many Iranians killed in a passanger aircraft by a US missile over their territorial waters back in 1988.

290 Iranian civillians were killed. That's even more than KAL 007 back in '83.

[-] -1 points by Carlitini99 (-167) 12 years ago

Oh you hate America don't you. your little Iran is falling apart and you are angry at America. Being from a country run by perverted mullahs and a monkey faced president can't be easy. Just give yourself up.

[-] 0 points by Pujete (160) from New York, NY 12 years ago

A monky faced president can't be easy?...Sure it is, Bush got reelected didn't he?

[-] -1 points by Carlitini99 (-167) 12 years ago

what's a monky? learn to spell you terrorist lover. two bullets to the head and a dip in the ocean for Mahmoud, then kill the republican guard they will surrender with wet pants, then take the mullahs and stick them in a gay bathhouse and have the clients there take care of them.

[-] -1 points by B76RT (-357) 12 years ago

ahmadinejad is insane and you're worse off if you think that anyone could deal with him diplomatically.

[-] 0 points by Pujete (160) from New York, NY 12 years ago

Ahmadinejad is insane for thinking he could deal with the US diplomatically - now it is he who is the worse off for it. The only group that benefits from this are the neocon war mongers and radical extremists... Or do I repeat myself?

[-] -1 points by B76RT (-357) 12 years ago

If ahmadinejad thought that he could deal with the usa diplomatically, that would only be because 0bama is perceived to be a weak ( which is he is) president. he's ( 0bama ) the neville chamberlin of his time. ahmadinejad will be replaced by the mullahs with another loon. muslims don't deal, they murder.

[-] 0 points by Carlitini99 (-167) 12 years ago

do you or don't you hate the U.S. and love Iran and its leadership?

[-] 0 points by Pujete (160) from New York, NY 12 years ago

A few minutes ago you were asking why I hated the US and loved Iran. Now you're not sure... What happened? You don't seem to put a lot of thought into your posts.

Work on it and get back to me when you have something coherent to say.

[-] 0 points by Carlitini99 (-167) 12 years ago

they do have tv's in jail so you can tune in as well. but enough of that. tell me why you hate the U.S.? Tell me why you like islam and countries like Iran. Why do you hate Jews?

[-] 0 points by Pujete (160) from New York, NY 12 years ago

Pujete is correct. The Ayatollah is the one we have had issues with. The guys is a manipulator to the extreme both in foreign policy and domestically. Says one thing and does another. The Ayatollah is the one who ended two separate agreements worked out by Ahmadinejad, China, And the US to stop nuclear material production.

[-] 2 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 12 years ago

The Ayatolla is indeed a problem, - a BIG one - but Ahmadinejad is as well. His office has no jurisdiction over foreign policy, only domestic. As such, he was overstepping his bounds, and challenging the Ayatolla, who is the only one in Iranian law allowed to engage in forging agreements and treaties with foreign countries. Ahmadinejad's power grab has appeared to have backfired.

There was also the issue of the brutal repression of protesters this past year, and the Ayatolla is jettisoning the person whose resulting unpopularity could undermine the ruling theocracy.

According to the reports I have read, the nuclear program is the Ayatolla's baby. Make no mistake, he is a hard-liner, having usurped the previous leader for having been too moderate.

In other words, it's domestic politics (in my view) not a lead-in to any olive branch offerings.
