Forum Post: Using social networking for social revolution

Hey, just wanted to write a comment that probably strikes a chord with everyone here. I'm just amazed at how powerful social networking/media is to spread a message and connect everyone with shared values and concerns.

Can you imagine a revolution or uprising that connects millions of people across the planet? Nothing like this has happened before. I wonder what government thinks about this? Does anyone know if there is any concern from the big men upstairs? We all know they can't close down the internet, so it interests me what people think?

Also by the way - i'm not in the US, but I am interested in your cause, as corporate greed is global. I certainly know that when the banking system started to cock up, it def spread to the rest of the world. We are all connected.
