and you'll remain a fringe group
It's impossible to speak for all of the 99% but you can come up with good ideas that will get the votes of 51% of the voters. That's all you need to do.
Define fringe group. I live by the tenet of Margaret Mead who said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
The way many people here address anyone with a different political view or affiliation only serves to alienate those they would claim to represent. You cannot call TEA Party members (not Republicans in DC that claim to be members) terrorists and then say your group is inclusive. There are far too many immature people in this movement for it to really have a chance at succeeding.
Most of the people are not the movemen. The real ones are or have been on the street protesting
