I watched the livestream last night and although it was very spotty, you still got to hear and see some of the police brutality. Our OWS were well within their legal right but the police still did whatever they wanted.

Media didn't show up until kinda the end, NY1 was there and no surprise today, there is NO COVERAGE. I called NY1... And asked why no mention of this abuse on the morning tv. Her answer, we have people on scene right now. I told her NY1 was there towards the end, why no footage. Her lie.....we don't have news crew to be out at 4am.

When I explained that most of the police abuse happens around 12am to 4am. And this has been happening for a while. She replied again, we have no crew to cover that time.

Look OWS... When are you going to say enough and make sure you get that coverage. Last night was so bad that I was 100% positive I was going to turn the news on and see some footage, at least NY1. It doesn't make you SICK to witness what happened last night... And NOT ONE local news is informing the public?

Again I say....ENOUGH! Its really time to figure better ways to demand that coverage. The police really are not your problem... Its the media and the people who pulling the strings to keep this away from public view.

ENOUGH...!

Amen. Isn't that astounding? It proves that the corporate owned and controlled press is hand and glove with the elite.

NY1 is a fraud. We have no news media, they're propagandists.

I don't know why OWS hasn't focused more on the paid liars of the press. They all have public addresses and sidewalks to occupy.

NY1 is at 15th & 9th in the Chelsea Markets building. On the morning of the eviction, Nov. 15, that Canadian corpoRAT fake journalist Pat Kiernan kept rattling on about anything else, only the scroll at the bottom revealed what was happening.

No to corpoRAT ownership of news. We don't have real journalism anymore, only corpoRAT/government (which is owned by corpoRATS) propaganda.

Fox is at 6th and 48th.

NBC is in Rockefeller Center.

No corporate ownership of the news. No cross platform ownerships. Break up the media cartels."

Back to this morning's coverage, the best I saw was on local Fox, channel 5. Perhaps Greg Kelly, Ray's son, wants to show that he's an honorable journalist.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Why don't the people running this OWS ... Start to protest around some media stations. I understand this occupy wall street and the parks.... But you can still carry the same message at a media station.

What about taking 20 or so people, going to those early morning shows that have LIVE background footage of city.... And stand with signs.... This I guarantee would get coverage.

Ill say again, what the police are doing is really wrong.... BUT THINK.... Who is giving the orders....target them. Flood their mail box (not email) with mail.

Like one of the posters said... Some if these people have public addresses... Well send the word out.

Did anyone send these stations the LiveStream recording from this morning? Some stations will accept user-submitted video.

CNN iReport is another thing that can be added. Blogs, flyers, anything really. I trust that you guys can find creative ways to show what happened to the public.
