Judge Markson Declares Administrative Code Unconstitutional, Dismisses Charges
Defendants Michael Crute and John Bell, among others, had challenged the constitutionality of the emergency rules, arguing their First Amendment rights under the WI and US Constitutions were violated. Markson agreed in a written decision issued today.
Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General Rebecca Weise had argued the cases should proceed.
Markson’s ruling could set precedent that would lead to the dismissal of ~300 charges issued under Administrative Code 2.14(2)(vm)(5) for “unlawful assembly” last summer.
Michael Crute and his attorney Jeff Scott Olson issued a press release. “This is Scott Walker’s ‘Bridge-Gate’,” said Michael Crute.
''Evidence Mounting That Walker Campaign Is at Center of Criminal Probe'' by Brendan Fischer :
''The judiciary in each of the five counties appointed a Milwaukee judge to oversee the proceedings. The bipartisan group of District Attorneys then asked the court to appoint a Special Prosecutor to coordinate the investigation, after Wisconsin’s Republican Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen declined to lead the probe, citing potential conflicts of interest. The nature of this potential conflict was redacted from the unsealed court documents.'' Now let the 'stinkle-bot' loose !

Wasn't that cool?
I posted it in here the other day, but in the smearing conflagration, it was buried almost immediately.

Good news, still gets buried fast.
I apologize, Shooz. I didn't realize that you had already posted it. I had been waiting for someone to post it. But, yeah, I agree, it was VERY cool. I was like......he's done.
It's OK, my stuff gets buried a lot. like that there have been several times now, when actions I've found around the world get posted here, before anywhere else in the Occupy network.
I beat .net to the Bosnia story by 4hrs.
