hey vtexx - just signed up, right - how is that - what do they pay you and how can i sign on - i would love to be paid for disrupting people who are trying to change the country. i only wish i was around when they were trying to overthrow slavery or those damned women were trying to get the vote. i was around when kids were sitting in at lunch counters but too young to understand that i could make money fighting against them - if only i could find a rich man to pay me to do that - so how do i proceed?

I have worked since I could drive and I'm putting myself through college, so don't act like I'm anything other than deep in the 99% like the people this movement supposedly supports. . This movement has nothing to stand on when being compared to the great men and women of those movements I mentioned. You're ignorant and have nothing to say other than what you think are witty retorts without any substantial information or rebuttal to them.

Oh my! I'm done, you win. You copied what I said and tried to use it against me! Why is this movement pathetic and weak? Let me list the reasons: no leaders, no goals, no effort to gain political support, no effort to back a candidate, no effort to do anything but occupy and protest. Why are those other movements different? Let me list the reasons: the revolution was led by great thinkers who risked everything they had for a revolutionary idea. They didn't just protest. The civil rights movement was peacefully lead by great individuals who worked within the system. They didn't blame a certain group of people, but instead worked to bring everyone together. OWS can't keep their protests/camps clean, they can't stop from being violent, they have very sketch roots to communism and anarchism, but they want my support and want to tell people they are working for the America that I want? No thank you.

are you looking to win here - that's odd - i thought this was some sort of search for truth - my bad! i copied you and did use it against you -very effectively seems to me. and you, to your great credit responded to try to explain yourself - very good - keep it up. too bad you do not understand ows and what they are trying to do - that's what happens when you watch fox and friend reruns all day. as to backing a candidate - i am sure you know the words of the great emma goldman - "if voting could change anything it would be illegal!" if you know the history of the great movements of this country you would know the victories did not come through voting - won't go into it now - i need my nap, but you can look it up. if you paid attention the last decade you would know that emma was on the money - 2008 and nothing changed - well maybe a few more wars than under bush and more bailouts of the rich! if you cannot see what is happening before your eyes then you must really be dumb - or watching fox and friends? i am sorry but you do not really know the history. rosa parks sparked the civil rights movement - she (along with many other activists you never heard of) came out of the highlander school - a training ground for this movement long before anyone heard of mlk - look it up! . the leaders came later - after the movements had established themselves.(as with the anti war movement of the 60's - read the port huron statement - looks like it was written by ows!). look up resurrection city - looks very much like ows. the civil rights movement did not work with in the system - they engaged in civil disobedience exactly because the system was not working for them - are you just dumb or a beckie? i would also remind you that they did not work to bring bull connor and the kkk into their happy family. lastly what do you know of the ows sites - i have been to the nyc site and it is neither dirty or violent - you must be reading that ass frank miller! i am sorry if you are afraid of communism and anarchism but i assume you know that we would not have the weekend or the 40 hour work week (now gone thanks to those that ows is fighting against) with out those two groups. you need to learn about our history i suggest you read howard zinn - it is an easy read and very entertaining while being informative. educate yourself if you are serious. if, as i suspect, you are just a trouble maker then go away! and really, no thank you!
