Forum Post: True Democracy on your phone

I have often thought that our technology has reached the point where we no longer need a representative government. A simple cell phone app on everyone's phone and we have true democracy. Of course it would be a little more complicated than that, but we could than eliminate corrupt representatives. Any thoughts?
