As I scroll through he threads I see the provocative subject lines are the most active while threads with subject lines that might lead to discussion are of little use.
"I was told my a multi-millionaire that I am being too harsh on the rich. That instead of getting so angry and blaming them, I should be willing to have a "meaningful discussion". THIS IS MY RESPONSE. 32 comments 2 days ago by Mcc last comment 45 seconds ago"
There ARE JOBS out there you bunch of WHINERS! 54 comments 2 days ago by QuitWhiningandGoToWork last comment 5 minutes ago
And many many more.
Personally, I tend to stay away from these types of threads because they are not productive, but it is a personal choice.

I have pretty much abandoned the forums on occupywallst.org for the forums on occupytogether.org and nycga.net.
I am not a big fan of moderators and so I try to go where people have self-control and do not feed the trolls or where trolling is recognized for what it is and removed. This is only my personal choice and opinion.

Automation brings wonders. A thresher can do the work of a score of serfs. I don't need them anymore. Why share? They did none of the work.
Could you please point me to the productive threads?

Try occupywallst.org/forum/get-the-money-out-of-politics/ for now. I'm working on trying to get a better one going to bring together the different ideas floating around. I'll post that link in my original thread when I get it up and running. Please help and contribute to the constructive dialogue.
There are in fact HUNDREDS of TROLLS active on this site, many of them self-confessed and most of them PAID by government agencies or big corporations to UNDERMINE the Occupy Wall Street Movement.
Just a small sampling of outed trolls : "Tednugent", "OccupyEverything", "brianobx", "blkflg", "Badhornet', "uslynx81", "therealdeal2011", "1percenter4life", "superspiff", "suwata", "sudoname", "hahaha", "Momcalled", "justfactsallowed", "ArrestAllCEOS", "AntiCorp", "MikeyD", "MovingTwoChina", "Rob" and "DukeNukem299", "dukeNukem347", "Moving8China", etc., etc.
To understand how trolls think - and have a chuckle while you're at it - go to:

In my opinion, OWS should gradually WEED OUT the trolls, beginning with the most obvious and offensive ones, as their intentions are purely destructive and disruptive. These trolls have plenty of other options : they can form their own OWS-hating site or go post on Papa Troll Rush Limbaugh's site.
The 1% are freaking out. I wonder how much they're spending on astroturf?
On the other forums we can flag and give or take away points. It seems to work.
The fact that they don't speaks volumes
Morons vs Trolls. Who will win?
Well it seems that whoever owns this site has already been bought out by some rich lardass. Now the purpose of the site and forum is to make the movement look bad.
So I say we trash the whole thing.
Another option I am noticing is to remove points from their posts which relegates their posts to the bottom of the page.
Wha ha! Thanks for the tip :)
Just doing my part to make the world a better place for everybody.

Yep, I'm sure anti OWShitters aer being paid. You paranoyed schizofranic OWS zombies belong in a mental institution.
