I'm all for transparency. Indeed, personally, I think life should be a turkish bath. But it seems to me that the value of transparency and the right of privacy are necessarily at odds with each other, yet most OWSers (of which I count myself) apparently support both which seems to me to be an oxymoron.
Life is filled with paradox. That is why everyone needs to educate themselves. A lot of people here have posted about the futility of a liberal education, but that is completely wrong, because a liberal education is the only thing that can build the mind to be capable of dealing effectively with paradox.
