Today is a great day for humanity. Today, the Era of Cold Fusion started, in Bologna, Italy.

Today, October 28th 2011, the Cold Fusion device created by Italian engineer Andrea Rossi, and nicknamed "Energy Catalyzer" (E-Cat), was independently tested by the Italian company Manutencoop Facility Management, probably in behalf of a larger company, yet undisclosed, that will be the first customer to buy Mr. Rossi's system.

The "Energy Catalyzer" is a device that allegedly produces huge amounts of thermal energy by means of Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR), also known as Cold Fusion. The device was presented by Italian engineer Andrea Rossi in January 2011, and caused a lot of buzz in the internet.

Today, October 27th, a complex system composed by 107 individual modules of the "Energy Catalyzer" was independently tested by a customer for the first time.

The customer’s controller, Domenico Fioravanti, measured the temperature of the steam at the outlet outside the container and the inlet water temperature. Andrea Rossi measured in addition to this temperature of a large number of the modules.

According to the controller Fioravanti, power from the genset was switched on to the heating resistors in the modules around 10.30, with an initial power of 120 kW, which was gradually increased to 180 kW.

At 12.30 began self sustained mode, which means that the power to the resistors which are used to "ignite" the process was shut down. The plant then ran without any energy input other than the fans and the pumps for five and a half hours.

The total energy is released between 12:30 and 18:00 was calculated from the amount of water heated and evaporated. The water flow was measured with two water counters, and according to the controller’s report amounted to a total of 2635 kWh.

Subtracting the energy for pumps and fans, amounting to 66 kWh, this equals a net energy of 2569 kWh, which corresponds to an average power of 467 kW.

Subtracting the energy supplied during startup, about 320 kWh at an average power of 160 kW, the net energy would still be 2249 kWh. In this case the energy output during startup should also be estimated and added.

This is great news for mankind. Cold Fusion technology has the potential to completely replace oil, and become the solely source of energy for all human needs. This is safe, clean, cheap, and inexhaustible source of energy.

We've heard of alternative forms of cheap energy for awhile.

If anyone has a working Zero point prototype, they'd gain great influence bringing it to camps to generate heat.

Otherwise we can expect these technologies to either not work as planned or be suppressed.

geothermal energy is for real. cold fusion may even be for real, but its not cheap, and its not goign to market any time soon.

I have been active here since the very beginning, and since the very beginning I have been trying to make some core points. These points clearly have not been digested or fully understood by the mob, and so I'm going to try to make a further attempt here again.

  1. Merely protesting in the streets will not bring change. In fact merely protesting in the streets is in fact a means to the end of avoiding the real work of a revolution, which consists of the evolutionary solutions, answers, problem solving process, and new political alignment we create.
  2. This forum is absolutely disorganized. It won't be read by most people and it won't and can't function as a core organizational system.
  3. Back at the very start of this, I petitioned the admin to add multiple sub forums and a wiki. Multiple sub forums were promised but have never arrived. I think that this tells us that the intention actually of this forum is message control and containment. The entire purpose really of this forum has always been to keep us spinning in disorganization. We are hanging out on a forum that expressly exists to actually keep us confused and disorganized.
  4. The real work of a revolution isn't going to happen on forums, it needs to happen in a much more organized fashion using collaborative software.
  5. The assorted other details about how to collaborate, how to work open source direct democracy, how to focus in on science instead of isms, how to become hyper rational about this, are details which are essential and crucial, without which we can predict the movement to fail.
  6. Technically speaking we are not 99 percent, we are one tenth of one percent attempting to represent the 99 percent. Our core mission must be to communicate to and with the 99 percent, and get them to join us. This forum will not accomplish that and neither will any of the other main websites.
  7. You can follow other people out to other wikis and other websites, where they will try to get you to get involved with what they want and their program, but frankly speaking, there is no other website and no other operation out there which understands the complexities involved with meaningful organization. In short, everyones being led to get involved here there and everywhere else, scattering the movement in directions which ultimately do not gain us critical mass, criticial momentum, or critical systemic lucidity.
  8. I have managed to get a wiki put up and have already put on that wiki evolutionary details which make it more organized than anything else. I can't do this alone. There are 10 or so wikis now out there, most of which were created in response to my pleas for a wiki, and several of which are in domains owned and operated by some corporation, (wikia, etc) And which we can thus assume will simply be closed, shut down, or deleted if they become useful to the movement.
  9. Probably at least half of the invites you have to go participate at some other site are people who are scamming everyone to waste time and energy, distort the movement, co opt it, and etc. When you walk off into a closet ask yourself how you know that the closet isn't created by some fed, or by some republican, or by some democrat, in order to sway things in their direction.
  10. The only meaningful strategic option we have for real change in this country is to create a new third party, and take every political office in this country.
  11. Once that is done, we can have an article 5 convention. If we have an article 5 convention before getting rid of the oligachs, that just opens the genie from the bottle for them to abuse that process with their corruption and evil.

For these reasons, I beg of you to please immediately join me on the wiki. We need to have all of these details and all of these ideas put together in an organized fashion, rather than posted in a long scrawl which will never be read.

sure it is. on parallel earth. back in this reality, its incredibly dangerous, incredibly expensive, and VERY low in yield, making it still realistically theoretical and a game to play in the lab.

its not on the market... you seem to have failed to understand.

You should be talking about some other technology, not the Energy Catalyzer.

The Energy Catalyzer:

  • Costs 50 cents per watt to build and install

  • The fuel is virtually free, since it is barely consumed during the reaction

  • No radiation above the background level detected in the surroundings.

Lol,. the right wing keeps pointing to, or just vaguely talking about, 'free energy devices' or 'technology',. and guess what NONE has ever been brought to market! It is sad that in place of dealing with the actual situation,. a dying planet,. (well we are the ones killing it,.) with depleting resources,. they just promote a techno-fix that does not exist,. If we actually had more energy,. we would just use it to destroy this place faster,. . silly monkeys.

Second: this is not "free energy", this is Nuclear Fusion

Third: This device has just been brought to market. The test of today was made by a customer company, that will pay for the device.

I can find no actual news agency reporting on this,. only websites that focus on fringe energy tech. Realizing that there have been many people pitching for funding for similar 'amazing' new tech. and none have ever paned out,. why expect anything more from this?

I am not really concerned about what wing you flap,. it is just the main proponents of this type of spoof tend to come from the loony right. Sorry if that is not you,. I would not like to be called a righty either.

Well,. it would be quite near to free,. if the process is to "transform nickel into copper" although the secret mystery "catalyst" is not revealed. Well, having a secret customer,. for the box, ain't really "brought to market" now is it. When can I go down to the Walmart and gets me a generator that gives me energy for the price of a bit of nickel,. and a remainder of copper. Perhaps we should invest in nickel mining in Sudbury!

I'm not saying this can't happen as we all know anything is possible hell bush go two terms! Just that till it is out of the lab trials,. and truly usable it is just an experiment.

Ny Teknik is a serious publication from Sweden, not a website that focus on fringe energy tech.

You should wait before you can buy it on Walmart. The first versions are for industrial use.

However, Cold Fusion is an easier approach to Nuclear Fusion, and costs way less.
