The only way to bridge the gap between the 1% and the 99% is to go through Washington. There needs to be strict campaign finance reform and an end to lobbyists. Protesting in NYC will not accomplish that.
The occupation of Liberty Square was a success in that it drew a lot of attention and inspired others to join in, but that phase should be considered over. Instead of looking for a new camp in NYC, it is time to organize all the movements around the country and take the fight to Washington, and let the members of Congress see the need for change right in front of them everyday.
