No body wants to mess with Diane.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

This is why it is vital that we play in the R v D game to not do so is just giving up.

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 11 years ago

Is that a fact?

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

Republicans are down to 24%, we can kill this thing, and create a new path, but not if we are divided and do what the far left has always done and just bark at the moon.

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 11 years ago

Well, at least you've changed your tactics. Now, those who don't buy into the D v R two party system get labeled far left instead of republican troll. I'd call that progress.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

oh no don't worry you still get to vote Republican like you always have, I was reffering to,... you know, supporters of OWS

[-] 1 points by JadedCitizen (4277) 11 years ago

I've never voted republican thank you very much.

[-] 1 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

It is not "vital" at all that Occupy play the "R v D game," rather it will be injurious to this struggle if we do.

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

you know I cried at E.T., but I’m not looking in tents for little green men….

[-] 0 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

Yes...that was sad. How profound, only if it were applicable

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

Keep thinkin’ you might figure it out, this one is a little deep.

[-] 0 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

Considering what you are cheer-leading for....partisan politics, I know that your twisted little analogy cannot be that deep.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

and so the troll comes out hmmm didn't take that long....

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

more troll blasts at people that actually participate in OWS from someone that never does......

People like you make it very hard to get any change.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

so do any of you guys have an actuall position or is the only thing you got to say is peopl;e that might say something that might actually change the careful balance you try to maintain, should shut up, I have never seen you layout any kind of ideal of how change could actually happen

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I've done it here a thousand times.

And as I've said before, the REAL conversations go on at the occupations.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

so why do you post?

if only there was a place you could share your opinions....

[-] 2 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

it's hard to get opinions shared

no one has told me why Walker is even likable

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

I'd love it if people just voted against whoever got the most money from out of state if it's a state election, anything almost would be better than letting the money pick.

[-] 2 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

I can't follow the money on this one

I'm not convinced by it

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

policy is the most important thing no doubt, but with around 75% of Walker's money coming from out of state, and with the amounts he got, it's clear there are nation wide policies, they want, the plan is the same as it has always been, bust the unions so there will be no "big money" for the Ds and no one to make them pay decent wages

[-] -1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

the same reason you do....and it's probably not for the reasons we think it is.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

you don't even know why you post?

you're making less sense than normal...

I don't remember sharing with you why I post, but you seem to know why, and not know at the same time, I think you're just a lair.

[-] 0 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

Oh yes anyone who disagrees with your view is a troll. That's the new rule. I forgot.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

“twisted little analogy” you use your insults, I’ll use mine….

[-] 0 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

lol The analogy itself was an insult, and i replied in a like manner. The hatred that you want to perpetuate in your 'crush republican' campaign is misguided, and your respect for this movement is near nil. You need some fresh air FRF. It's a good day to get out in the streets, don't you think??

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

if you took your head out of sand and took a look around you would be pissed off too

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

"Keep thinkin’ you might figure it out, this one is a little deep"

words of encoragement, I'm still hoping you'll get it

[-] 0 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

There is nothing profound or "deep" about endorsing partisan politics at this point in our history. As Chris Hedges said in his recent Truth Dig column, It's "silly." And I am really "pissed" at the whole corrupt system.

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

I guess you swim in more swallow waters than I thought, but that's ok, moving on, so to you there's no difference with Walker winning, just as good as any other result to you heh?

[-] -3 points by CaptainTony (-145) 11 years ago

Whether Walker won or lost in Wisconsin, the global elite through their corporate contributions and bribes would still own every politician and significant bureaucrat in Washington DC - Democrat or Republican.

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

your point being since we are no longer the "land of the free" we should just quit voting and get over it? interesting point, I disagree.

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

all is lost, all is lost... woe is me woe is me...

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

So what do you plan to DO about it? You never say anything except reach out to Republicans the way Obama's been doing.

[-] 0 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

Where were you looking for, why the people were in the streets of Chicago? Let me guess, the corporate-owned news media, right? Like most people our age, you still believe that is where you will find the answers, and the accurate coverage of this revolution. The people were in the streets of Chicago for the same reason that you foolishly believe that partisan politics has a role to play in this stuggle, to have a government that is representative of its people. Thankfully most of the young people, and the people who make the real sacrifices know differently. You still do not. Being in the same age group as you, I do understand though that old habits are hard to break. I'll leave it at that for now, and pick it up with you later

[-] 0 points by Odin (583) 11 years ago

Factsrfun, here are some quotes from Chris Hedges recent column entitiled Northern Lights that appeared in Truth Dig earlier this week. Pay special attention to the quote that I have, preceded and followed with asterisks '**,' thanks. Of course, as you know I have been advocting this formula for success for some time now. Hence, I did not need to read his column to know that what he is a proponent of......getting out in the streets....... has got to be the main thrust of the struggle we are in.

"....Those of us who care about civil society and abhor violence, should begin to replicate what is happening in Quebec. Their fight is our fight....."

**......"the blindness of those who foolishly continue to place their faith in a dead political process....." **

"There is still time to act. There still are mass movements to join. If the street protests in Quebec, the most important resistance movement in the industrialized world, spread to all of Canada, and reach the United States, there remains the possibility of hope."

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

I saw people in the streets in Chicago what I didn't hear was why they were in the streets and I'm not hearing it from you either. You can spend all the time you want in the streets if you have nothing to say you have nothing to say. That seems to be the case I have asked you many time to tell me how you see this working out, all you ever say is "take a walk" well I've been to lots of marches but not without knowing what I was marching for. Unlike you I see a path to change the way the country is run, change the way we think about money, remove the obstacles to change (the Republican Party) force candidates to answer real questions in the primaries so the corporatist can be detected and removed. All you say is take to the streets, well we’re here, what now? BTW can you not speak for yourself? Chris Hedges is not my "leader".

[-] -3 points by CaptainTony (-145) 11 years ago

Chris Hedges stated clearly what we should DO about it:

"Don't waste any more time or energy on the presidential election than it takes to get to your polling station and pull a lever for a third-party candidate - just enough to register your obstruction and defiance - and then get back out onto the street. That is where the question of real power is being decided."

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

like in 2000 when Bush was able to steal the close one, yeah that truned out great , Chris is giving some great advice there, maybe this time we can get Romney, he'll go after those banks.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

Chris was ahead of his time, thirty years ago, too bad he hasn't moved but the world has.

Baloney: Congress is only "dysfunctional" on the wedge issues that create the illusion of difference between the corporate-controlled Democrats and the corporate-controlled Republicans. On significant legislation like AUMF 2001, the USA Patriot Act, NDAA 2012, HR347, HR3606, HR658 and soon NDAA 2013, the two parties march together in fascist lock-step.

It makes no difference whether Obama or Romney win in November. Either way we end up with a president controlled by Wall Street and the War Machine: "Bushbamney".

[-] -1 points by writerconsidered123 (344) 11 years ago

it would be anti-ethical for OWS to play the Rv D game. OWS should strongly play the third party game

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

Nader the traitor has crawled under a rock,

It’s the only place safe from the things that he wrot.

As millennia approached us, we had one last shot,

To keep the planet we’re on from getting, too damn hot.

But Nader thought better his name should be heard.

And Gore was left standing with only his word.

Don’t be a fool that’s what the 1% want you do to

[-] -2 points by RealityTime (-224) 11 years ago

Did Diane Rehm have a stroke or is she just 106? She's painful to listen to.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

She has a medical condition, and I bet your mother's fat.

[-] -1 points by RealityTime2 (-25) 11 years ago

She has a mental condition? Yeah, I know. NPR: Taxpayer funded liberalism.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

Tax money should only be used for war, right?

[-] -1 points by RealityTime2 (-25) 11 years ago

Tax money shouldn't be used to preach politics. The left wets its pants over Rush Limbaugh, but imagine if his pay check came from taxpayers. That's NPR.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

so if someone puts on a program full of lies, no one should be allowed to hear truth, you guys been working that one a long time...

http://politicalhumor.about.com/od/rushlimbaugh/a/limbaughquotes.htm

yeah I see how they're just the same.

[-] -3 points by RealityTime2 (-25) 11 years ago

Hear the "truth", make up your own "truth". But your "truth" shouldn't be on the taxpayer tit.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

like all Republicans you want to be King I understand

[-] -1 points by RealWorld2 (-114) 11 years ago

No,we just think propaganda should be on your own dime. Can you people never pay for anything on your own?

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

So getting back to that war is it OK for me to want Exon to pay for it?

I'll pay for PBS if you pay for Iraq.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

sure we'll just pay exon for it

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

maybe if they have to pay for this one, we won't have a next one, I'm willing to give it shot, along with other things

[-] -1 points by RealWorld2 (-114) 11 years ago

The analogy is to imagine how liberals would throw up blood if Rush drew a government check.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

no liberals cares about Rush

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

You want to determine how your tax money is spent, why do you not extent that to others?

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I cant stand the MSM and both parties, and I have to say that NPR does a fairly good job of covering stories.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

the BBC is sounding pro-war

[+] -4 points by CaptainTony (-145) 11 years ago

Thinking that "tax money" is separately accounted for or allocated is whimsy.

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

yes maybe so like I said seems your problem is with rt2 as he was the one who brought that up, or do you not read, just jump in

[-] -3 points by CaptainTony (-145) 11 years ago

Bumping your own post again, Factsrfun? Pathetic...

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

now come on you did your part too, take credit....

I am amazed at how you Democratic Party plants are allowed to violate the rules of this forum with indifference...

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

repying to your comments should be against the rules, I'm just not sure if it is...

[-] -3 points by CaptainTony (-145) 11 years ago

Your immaturity knows no bounds, Factsrfun.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

Did your mama write that for you?

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

I thought indifference was the republican's job

did some one get the script pages mixed up again?

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

maybe you should tell, "reality" but wait you guys aren't allowed to disagree are you

[+] -4 points by CaptainTony (-145) 11 years ago

I know no more about RealityTime2 than you do about telling the Truth, Factsrfun.

[-] 3 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

Here, let me help you here's the coment you jumped in on, or don't you read?

[+] -5 points by CaptainTony (-145) 11 years ago

That did not happen here, nor has it happened elsewhere.

[-] 4 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

so I'm replying to this guy rt2 and you reply to my reply, are you just trying to confuse people? what am I saying of course you are.

More gibberish from a partisan forum plant seeking points to justify his paycheck. From who? DNC? MoveOn? Obama re-election campaign?

makes you wonder why you jumped into this thread in the first place, don't it, have you been played, I wonder?

Yep, just bumping your own posts to boost your forum point count. Pathetic, Factsrfun. Pathetic...
