I do apologize for not recalling the person who briefly mentioned this idea, but it really needs some more thought.
He basically said that there should be a law separating Corporations and State....much like the separation of Church and State. I mean...clearly, Wall Street is the church that the greedy and corrupt worship at...so why not make a law that separates Corps and State?
I am not sure how the legislation would be formed...but it should be an avenue that is explored. Eliminating corporate person-hood could be the way to go...but maybe someone with more experience in this realm could give more insight.
LIKE. Take money out of politics. This is the biggest singe issue; all (ok, most) others will fall into place if we but achieve this......
Eliminate the lobbyists and PAC money.
Yes...but you need legislation to eliminate them. You cannot just say..."you are eliminated"...we need a simple law with no loopholes in them. But, yes...this is also a good start. Maybe limiting all and any donations to $500 bucks...no matter what.
