These videos also make me feel ashamed that I belong to the same race as them. After fully absorbing the implications of what these videos mean, and that such a large percentage of Americans think like this, I have pretty much come to the conclusion that America is probably doomed. There just isn't enough collective wisdom and brainpower to reverse course. This is born out by the number of R states versus D states as indicated in one of the videos. I do, of course, hope that I'm wrong.

Our primary goal should be to elect representatives who support a constitutional amendment to counter Supreme Court decision Citizens United (2010) , that enables unlimited amounts of anonymous money to flood into our political system.
We don’t have to explain or persuade people to accept our position – we only have to persuade them to ACT based on their own position. Pursuing this goal will prove to the world that we, at OWS, are a serious realistic Movement, with serious realistic goals. Achieving this goal will make virtually every other goal – jobs, taxes, infrastructure, Medicare – much easier to achieve –
by disarming our greatest enemy – GREED.

I've met some hard-case racists and bigots in my time, and I don't deny that Australia has plenty of them, but they don't usually willingly vocalise in front of a camera, and they rarely run for public office.
If they do end up in politics, they don't last long.
Are you from Australia? If so, as an outside observer, do you think there is any strategy that could correct this mess? What I see is what could be, but that is sadly prevented by stupidity as portrayed in the videos, and this makes me very sad to realize that the potential is there, but it is weighed down by ignorance.
Yeah, from down under. What would I suggest to cure generations of ingrained bigotry? Might be what all those FEMA camps are set up for?
Naaah, but seriously, it might be time to Un-unite the States of America. A lot of this kind of ingrained hatred goes way back to the civil war.
We have parochialism in different states in Australia, but with so many different states under the one banner, I'm at a loss to even contemplate where to start on the massive task of uniting the United States.
Your comment got me to thinking, and I did a little research. The below link was surprising to me. Seems a whole lot of people want to secede. If they ever formed an effective coalition, that would make for some very interesting times indeed!!!
