Here are just a few Executive Orders that can suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These Executive Orders could be enacted by any president with a pen and a hard on for America. If you read any, be sure to read the last one in this list. Full texts available at the National Archives www.archives.gov
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to seize all means of transportation, including personal cars, trucks or vehicles of any kind and total control over all highways, seaports, and waterways.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10999 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.
Ah, well here is the thing.

So you can imagine Senate, Congress, and the President as being like a toothless dog. The dog begs you for it's false teeth, so you give them to the dog, and the dog promptly bites you.
However, if you refuse to give the false teeth to the dog, it's a pretty pathetic and dependent animal.
Same with anyone in a position of power. Power cannot be seized, it can only be borrowed with the consent of others. Yes, even Hitler and Stalin were only in power because some people benefitted. If NO ONE listened to Hilter or Stalin, we wouldn't know their names today...they would just be crazy screaming ego maniacs who died anonymously.
The President, the Senate, and Congress have NO POWER if ALL the people refuse to obey. Their power is lent to them by the 99%, and now it is being withdrawn.
The Police and the Military, might have the brief 'power' of using brutal violent force but that is not a lasting power. As soon as their supply of munitions runs out, their reign of brutality is over.
As soon as they kill unarmed civilians for peacefully practicing their first amendment rights, they have taken the first shots at destroying their own country. For what? To be loyal to a corrupt Plutarch who doesn't even pay their salary?
As Napoleon said "You can do everything you like with a bayonet, sir...except sit on it."
Also, both the Government and the Police (and Military) COMPLETELY RELY on the 99% for tax revenues as well as compliance. When the 99% withdraw their financial support and compliance, they collapse like a balloon.
Bring back state sovereignty. The Federal government over time has stolen to much power. Time to reign our Fed in. If we cannot do it with our vote. We'll send the OWS after them :)...along with several million more of good Americans.
Is there any reason why the Constitution cannot be legalized?
If OWS would go after those things in an organized and peaceful fashion, they would be a hit among the masses. Instead they have created a futile carnival midway.
