The Venus Project advocates an alternative vision for a sustainable new world civilization unlike any socio-economic system that has gone before. It calls for a straightforward redesign of a culture, in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt, and unnecessary human suffering are viewed not only as avoidable, but totally unacceptable.

It doesn't matter what the plan is or what it proposes. Like it or not there is a government in place here already. It will take much more work then linking to a video to change it. It has to start with us working within the government we currently have now to make change happen. We've littered the landscape with good ideas, time to elect people to carry some ideas them forward.

The Venus project in short is a call for a technocratic dictatorship.

Personally, i don't like the Venus project . eventually something similar will occur- after mankind's numbers reach a leverl that is sustainable.++ an educated and informed , world , will decide what kind of world they want-++ without the distortion of the media, conditioning them as to what they want. ++training web page http://tinyurl.com/7rvpv43

In order for this to work, most of the human population would have to deeply analyze the worth of everything they ever thought, believed, learned, and transform individually and manually by discarding toxic values and thinking every action over with a grand consideration of humanity as a whole.

You must peel the onion with care.

The Venus Project is one of the best shots for humanity right now in my opinion. Times are changing, that doesn't mean the change will be good. Everyone still seems to be stuck in the monetary system and won't even give this a chance.

Most people just read a section and already don't like it because the thought process involved is too much for some to handle, which is understandable. Everything the Venus Project advocates is based off of many, many years of research, arriving at the best solution for human kind and the environment we are reared in.

Thanks for posting this. We need more vp love/support!

Here's a good interview, PLEASE, watch this interview:

The Venus Project is difficult for me to grasp, but is good to see that people are exploring these possibilites. While in Sweden, one of my daughters, my sister and I visited a sprawling site where they had a cultural center, and where they were exploring different ways of doing things on a whole bunch of different levels...including, alternative therapies and medicine, to taking care of the disabled...byodamic research..organic gardening...architecture...to the arts..etc. I wish we had more time there so that I could have learned more about it. Anyway they had young people there from all over the world participating in this. It was very inspiring, and I just found a little booklet from there, and this quote; "The students work with animals and earth, garden and forest. By weaving theory and practice together, students learn an ecological way of thinking that permeates all areas of life."
