take notes, what a cute video :)

How Liberals Argue

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGwtG8nVpUU&feature=related

if you laugh now and then and watch the whole video, you get an A

if if make a "Pffft" noise and close the window, you get an F

if you get embarrassed, even a little, at how silly you may have been for ever thinking like the woman in the video, you get a C. ( it's ok you are salvageable. it will however take some time.)

wow, i guess i get an F for not believing that lady speaks for me, as a liberal, bleeding heart no nothing.

[-] -3 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

The point isn't whether she speaks for you or not, it is simply pointing out the Irrational logic of the liberal mind.

This is good to be aware of in todays society as Americans are seeing this mental disorder grow to epic proportions.

we Seriously need to find a cure for you and we wont stop until we do.

[-] 4 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

but there were some stereotypically slanderous remarks made by the man too. so that tells me your message cuts both ways.

[-] -1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

awesome!

I hadn't noticed but will review now to see if I might also find those slanderous remarks.

believe it or not I'm not bashing or poking fun at liberals. just questioning the logic of a few.

[-] 2 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

Keep on thinking on, partner.

"simply pointing out the Irrational logic of the liberal mind."

Remember: not the "liberal mind:" a single of many minds on the vast spectrum.

There are silly, misguided people at all ends of every spectrum. Singling out a few extreme examples only proves that you like singling out extreme examples and pawning them off as "the liberal mind" or whathaveyou.

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

I agree, extreme examples seem to be the popular approach to opposition of and by all partys historically.

I believe we are All conservative as well as liberal, only the proportions vary and I'm sure it is as difficult for a republican to disassociate himself from stereotypes as it is for the democrat.

It is nice to see a reply from someone liberal who can also see how ridiculous the Extremes are on his/her own side as well.

[-] 3 points by CrossingtheDivided (357) from Santa Ysabel, CA 12 years ago

Your grading system is flawed, teacher.

There's more than one reason why a viewer might make the pffft sound.

Fail. sorry jose

Shame and embarrassment - tools of the repelican oligarchy. Tools I will use to humiliate them as they proceed on their great quest into oblivion.

Blind fools waving the flag marching into the dust of history.

And this is Historic!

When I look back at the agitation and discontent that gripped this nation in social upheaval and examine the changes in thinking, perception, and belief, that tumultuous chaos wrought on this nation I stand in awe.

CHAOS is comming!

This nation is secular. This nation is Progressive. We are not afraid.

say . . . anybody got a text of the youtube?

[-] 2 points by TLydon007 (1278) 12 years ago

I laughed hysterically!!

You people rely on imaginary debates with strawman liberals(narrated by cons) to reinforce your views??

That's is funny!!

Give me an F for Freedom, though..

I assume A stands for Authoritarianism??

[-] 0 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

glad you got a kick out of that Nancy :)

however, I've heard every single one of those issues debated with Liberals and the illogical reasoning of the Liberal cartoon character is not only accurate but something we hear on a daily basis.

You get an A for being sober enough to open the link but Fail to find the boundary between rationality and stupidity.

Your final grade is a D for Disturbed.

[-] 2 points by TLydon007 (1278) 12 years ago

"I've heard every single one of those issues debated with Liberals"

If that were true, you would have provided a link to that, instead of a strawman.

[-] 1 points by FreedomIsFree (340) 12 years ago

Couldn't watch it all. Both sides were ludicrous.

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

lol

[-] 1 points by alexrai (851) 12 years ago

That's actually really funny, even for a liberal.

But, there certainly no shortage of conservatives who hold opposite views and couldn't even articulate a reason for them that makes sense on the most basic rational level...

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

yep. :)

I don't have any extreme conservative funnys. but I agree

[-] 1 points by technoviking (484) 12 years ago

had a good laugh.

the guy in the video is seriously misguided.

[-] 1 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 12 years ago

The robot voices sounded more human than that dialog. That was in the top 5 most bullshit waste of time youtube videos I have ever seen. I'm dropping this class and going back to bed.

[-] 0 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

yea. I agree. Disguising all those Boring issues of the world, pfft who cares.

when do I get to carry a sign and pee on something.

[-] 2 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 12 years ago

hahaha real important issues there. Help Help the Mooslims are coming! Yea why don't you beat that dead horse for another 10 years

[-] 0 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

why don't you visit Pakistan :) Iran :)

it's Only a dead horse because of people like me and other troops who happen to go take care of the problems.

you are a junkie, but free to breath and die. have fun

[-] 2 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 12 years ago

How many kids have you killed? Better go get some more before they come and hurt me. It should be easy like a video game. Isn't it ironic how you protect my freedom but yet you don't get to enjoy that same freedom

[-] 0 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

typical liberal nancy bullshit.

i will say since you brought up killing kids, I do Wish more lunatic Liberals like yourself would have ended up in a trash bag at the abortion clinics you love so much.

but, we deal with Liberals and we deal with septic tanks and life does have its problems

[-] 2 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 12 years ago

Whatever man. Thanks for making the world a more dangerous place. Halliburton really appreciates it. Great Job. A+.

[-] 0 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

more dangerous? no you are mistaken. I'm not a Liberal.

[-] 2 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 12 years ago

Your dichotomic thinking is probably why you ended up in the military. Have fun in Pakistan and Iraq. Make sure to tie the kids up before you slaughter them. Or to be safe just do shoot them from a mile away. Then you won't have to see their faces.

[-] 0 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

wow. as much as we try to hide the truth you Always catch us.

damn I wish we were as smart as you. OK we will tie them up before we slaughter those kids.

wish you were here :) thanks

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

OWS has democrats and republicans supporting it, they vote with their posts too. Look around, there are plenty of republicans contributing to OWS. They get to have a voice too! We chat with them all the time.

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

Thanks Jade, you are correct.
I'd be tempted to suggest there are almost as many conservative minded individuals as liberal participating.

I DO like to find where that line is drawn within EACH individual as we are All somewhat conservative and somewhat liberal. at least enough to find humor in the cartoon.

It is the inability of the Liberal to stick with any facts or rationally discuss any issue without resorting to quick judgements and name calling that is humorous. and ALSO in many liberal posts here "TROLL"

Yes we have just as many Regular people as we have Idiots. but it's OK to poke fun at your Idiot friend sometimes.

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

Well there actually are some trolls. I kinda associate it now with posters who pimp deregulation, privatization, and a free for all style of free market which would allow big bully businesses to win out over everyone and everything else. I also see whacked out far leftist over throw the government crap too. Now I'm thinking they are just different sort of troll. I like to see real people, Moms, Christians on here. I do read good posts that disagree with some of the far leftist crap and click that like button. It doesn't mean I don't support the movement, it means I support good ideas!

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

yea me too. :)

we have a difficult job. weeding out the lunatics without loosing a large amount of support.

It's what we get for starting out without specific demands.

"What do we Want?" "We don't Know!" "When do we want it?" "NOW!" was a chant 3 protesters were chanting on day one, on national TV.

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

lol! I keep saying if you want the support of the people, go donate time to local charities. Get out there and talk to real people who are shopping at the thrift stores and food pantries. If you want to be powerful, get enough people together for consumer actions we could all support and boycotts we could all afford to do. Have protests and get togethers on the weekend when more where people can go and the disruption to business is less. What is OWS doing? What did they give me? A freaking hunger strike for park space! I want to be a fan but right now I am confused and wonder if they are trying to be ineffective on purpose.

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

Let's see what happens in DC this week.

[-] 1 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

When it comes to describing my political view, I’d say I’m a libertarian when it comes to social interactions, a socialist when it comes to regulating business transactions and a democrat at heart, willing to compromise as a republican citizen in consternation. That pretty much makes me an independent looking for a third way for my nation

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 12 years ago

in That case, I think you are of the Majority. That is if "Democrat at Heart" is of what The Democrat Party Used to stand for.

Unfortunately its Leaders of the last 25 years have proved to be criminals, some we can prosecute, others are still in the white house with a free pass called the race card.

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

I think most people don't swallow the whole democratic party line or the whole republican party line. This site is leaving me wondering where the real people are. Most people don't want to pay higher gas prices so the oil company can pay off as many people as it does and things. Where is your average person who's utility bills are so jacked up they never got to see a dime of any increases in minimum wage? Where are older people who remember how cheap it was to go to the hospital when the county owned it and trash pickup was paid when you paid your taxes? Does OWS want the support of regular people at home taking care of their families?

[-] 1 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

those are all commerce problems that the federal government has, or should have, peer review. it's not the system that is broke it is the people managing the system that are bankrupt. they spend more time regulating morality and less time doing their job. IMO. you have ideologically blind individuals leading the dumb. If the dumb could come up with philosophies on their own and stop hanging on the ideas of the politicians, then maybe the right people would be leading us. But hay, i'm just a dreamer.

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

Nothing is more annoying than a bunch well read, intelligent human beings discussing ideas and philosophies and books they've read and how to build some utopia, and never taking into account what actual people want or need. Banks are just a symptom of the governments inability to serve Wallstreet and the people at the same time. The money being taken out of the equation frees up the government to actually regulate the people that have been paying them not to. I don't need to be brilliant to know that the country hasn't always been in this mess and it could get sorted out and work just fine with the constitution we have. I'm a dreamer too, I dream that one day someone somewhere will want to actually effectively make the needed changes.

[-] 1 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

utopia only exists in the bible and fiction novels. I am a practicalist and a book worm with the self confidence of an innovator.

[-] 1 points by JadedGem (895) 12 years ago

Sadly my reading is more limited to escapist fiction. Reading is more of my guilty pleasure. I don't know why simple words and concepts like monopoly and virtual monopoly never seem to pop up. All these products being shipped from other countries has got to be great for big oil, they must be making money hand over fist providing oil to that endeavor. When things get overly complicated I have a tendency to think the truth is just being subverted. In life, when people say something is complicated, they are usually trying to avoid a simple truth they don't like. In doing so, things become "complicated".

[-] 1 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 12 years ago

no argument here. i agree with your statement.
