Forum Post: The Rise of Fascism

Posted 12 years ago on Dec. 5, 2011, 2:51 p.m. EST by TrevorMnemonic (5827)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Members of the government and presidential candidates are trying to tell you that an entire religion is the enemy. It wasn't that long ago that Hitler tried to do this. Instead of the Jews it's now the Muslims. Don't let history repeat itself. Say no to fascism.

The most obvious sign of Fascism is Government plus Corporations equals Fascism. As America is today. Religious and ethnic minorities are scapegoated.

america has been fascist since the late 50's early 60's. islam is just the current flavor of the day

When it is impossible to fit a cigarette paper between corporations and the state then full fascism is achieved. - paraphrasing Benito Mussolini

"Fascism is a kind of colonization. A simple definition of 'colonization' is that it takes people's stories away, and assigns them supportive roles in stories that empower others at their expense." - Reverend Davidson Loehr

you mean kinda like we have it now, right?

[-] 1 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 12 years ago

In many ways yes.

Hatred of Islam or ISLAMOPHOBIA is a sickness of the soul just as grievious as ANTISEMITISM.

And as usual we here in the US are last to the party in recognizing things, this time being the political/economic paradigm of the ruling elites (including the bizzare and extremely consistent obsession by a select couple of people on really just this and a couple other sites to call it Libertarian) and calling it what it truly is:

Corporate Fascism on Steriods.

Anyone interested in how the model works, can start at this website for a perfect example:

http://www.rickscottwatch.blogspot.com/

For a slightly less intense version, try:

http://www.tampagov.net/dept_mayor/contact.asp

For an incredibly intense version, simply start climbing the ladder of power. The higher the position, the more intense.

Fascism is not about religion. Fascism is a modernist political ideology where state and business merge.

Political islam is a violent ideology. Zionism is also a violent ideology. Political islam has nothing to do with being a muslim, and zionism has nothing to do with being a jew.

[-] 2 points by Frizzle (520) 12 years ago

Arguing about the meaning of fascism doesn't change the fact that the way Jews were demonize in Nazi Germany is very similar to how Muslims are demonized now. And what's interesting is that propaganda is used in both cases to feed the hate and/or fear.

[-] 1 points by ubercaput (175) from New York City, NY 12 years ago

Antagonizing an ideology, be it Judaism, Zionism, Nazism, Political Islam, Communism ist norrmal and necessary.

You should clarify that you don't mean the people.

Aaron.Russo

100 minute movie

This is a documentary about an honest search for the truth about the Federal Reserve Bank (a private bank) and the legality of the Internal Revenue System. Through extensive interviews with recognized experts and authority, the director shows an astonishing revelation of how the Federal Government and the Bankers have fooled the American public by taking their wages and putting it in the pockets of the super-rich. The director goes so far as to interview one of the "master-minds" of the IRS Code, and you the viewer can draw your own conclusions as to how the system works. This is NOT a documentary filled with opinions, conjecture or editorial comment. It is a true documentary with a purpose, and that is to educate every wage earner about the Federal Reserve Bank, and the IRS, how they got started, and where the money goes. It is well done, and it will make you laugh, and it will make you ANGRY!. training web page http://tinyurl.com/7rvpv43

GOP members are doing this not Dems.

[-] -1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

But yes the GOP is 100% fucked up also.

There are two faces to Fascism- one has an R after their name, the other has a D.

[-] 1 points by tasmlab (58) from Amesbury, MA 12 years ago

Fascism should be hot on the lips of every OWS supporter, and/but as many posters have pointed out, it is technically the collusion of industry and government, not racial scapegoating or the militarism that seem to be corollary features of it.

We are allowing politicians to assert their supremacy and to lie all the time. It is all lies that war is necessary, Muslims hate freedom, terrorists don't like us. It is a constant war to control people and countries around the world. Agenda is to control oil resources, make sure dollar is backed up by oil, to make sure Muslim countries don't use the biggest wealth that lies under them to develop their industries and countries because we want to control the region and resources. It is all lies that these wars are necessary. We are having fascism right now. We did this to Native Americans and African Americans as well, we asserted they are savages when we were the violent side with the agenda of wiping them off and enslaving them. When we were doing this we said they are savages and inferior natural slaves. Now we are doing this to Muslims because we want their resources. Muslims are respectful to women, they love their women, they are peaceful and naive people who are reacting to the manipulations and actions of military industrial complex, they are fighting against the fate we are writing for them. They are fighting us because we occupied their counties. We are having fascism right now which is based on ongoing lies, and which is destroying our nation. We are going backward as fast as we could.

Logical Fallacy: Reduction Ad Hitlerum

[-] 3 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

Fascism is fascism. This is no different than when Hitler told the German people that the Jews were the enemy. Watch the republican debates and WATCH THEM SAY THE MUSLIMS ARE THE ENEMY. It's a fact. Your ignorant post doesn't make it any less true. SAY NO TO FASCISM. Blaming an entire race or an entire religion is huge part of fascism. Hitler did it. This is not an illogical comparison. If people are racist against Mexicans for being Mexican then it is no different than people being racist against black people. It is a justifiable comparison. The US government is not infallible.

I like using CAPS TO GET MY point ACROSS. It makes ME sound MoRe ImPoRtAnT than I aM. say NO TO CAPS LOCK. Get off the racist/religiousist/sexist train that so many people here seem to be on.

[-] 1 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 12 years ago

Hey no fair. I tried to type something in caps on here once so as to communicate that it was meant to be shouted and a red text popped up that said 'turn off the bloody caps'. It made me feel like a douche

[-] -1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

"I like to deflect because I can't actually pose a logical argument that the hatred and demonetization of an entire religion is wrong." That is pretty much what you just said in other words.

[-] 1 points by HeavySigh (227) 12 years ago

What do I need to respond to. You say fascism a lot and then tie republicans to hating religions and mention hitler. That is a solid argument to counter.

[-] -1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

I do not tie it to republicans specifically. I isolate many republican candidates though because they have literally said "Muslims are the enemy." Newt Gingrich specifically as he is currently ahead in polls and he said in the recent debates that Muslims are the enemy. I am actually voting RonPaul if possible. You should see what I have to say about Obama. I think he should be impeached and tried for treason along with NATO for their support of the "rebels" in Libya that have strong ties to Al Qaeda and are full of members of Al Qaeda.

Both parties suck. 44 repubs and 53 dems voted for the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 and under section 1031 they can now imprison US citizens without trial. Look up what senator Lyndsey Graham has to say about how he thinks it's acceptable to violate the constitution.

[-] 0 points by HeavySigh (227) 12 years ago

Oh I agree that both parties are card carrying lunatics. But most of the people on here drink SERIOUS liberal/left wing koolaid and it's sickening.

[-] 0 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

because wanting free healthcare and education is sickening? Can you clarify?

[-] -1 points by HeavySigh (227) 12 years ago

Because free/nationalized healthcare doesn't work and we can't afford it. How much more "free" stuff do people have a "right" to for breathing? Point me to another country that has the quality of healthcare we do. I'll admit that medication may be cheaper. I have friends who live in Europe and they will tell me without even being prompted how bad their taxes are and how much better our healthcare is over here, when they come visit that is.

[-] 1 points by Frizzle (520) 12 years ago

If other countries can easily afford it. Then why would the so called 'greatest country of the world' not be able to afford it? And healthcare is definatly NOT better then it is in europe.

[-] -1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

If you end the fed and restore the power of the constitution on monetary policy, the government doesn't need loans from the federal reserve owed back at interest and wouldn't need loans from China either... and our taxes would be reduced drastically. All while creating wealth to pass through society through healthcare, education, and the building of infrastructure, which would create millions of jobs. If you also abolish the private institutions that "create" inflation and restore the value of the dollar with a valued commodity, everyone wins.

You should look into the

National Emergency Employment Defense Act of 2011, HR 2990 as well as Section 1 article 8 of the constitution. It all makes sense. But first we'd have to get corruption out of congress.
