The transfer of public funds into deep private hands continues unabated, while on the other hand huge private debts are transferred to public hand. Remember the bailout,well that was nothing but the underwriting of private debt by the state. Also think about tax funding for rich corporation in the military industrial complex. Well, this is what you call corporate welfare. This whole picture has nothing to do with free markets at all, contrary from what u may hear from the slavish U.S. media. It's capitalism for you and I, while the 1% enjoys the safetly of state sponsored socialism. OWS is not asking for anything but for those standards to be applied across the board.
