When you have no home, no job or maybe you just got out of the local jail, then go to Occupy for free meals, free housing and a little extra support. It sure is one step up from the street. Just dont choke on the crystal meth.

If all OWS did was feed the homeless it would be a worthy cause for that alone. If you expect the poor to be quietly whisked away and kept from disturbing your vision, you shouldn't keep making more and more of them. If you expect not to talk to them or deal with their grievances, expect them to seek dignity at the feet of Osama bin Laden. If you expect a rich, healthy, safe society, don't turn the world over to poverty and pestilence and injustice.

Last I heard, you don't eat meth.

Now, If #ows could just arrange some free medical care, they'd have all the people on side.

Kinda scary for you, isn't it, thomas?

Im not scared because thankfully I dont live near that camp. Why should the local residents or businesses feel scared? Im wondering if this is OWS's true strategy...to develop slums in well to do places and they wont remove the slum until such time they get "their way".

Is it a slum because each person doesn't have a box around them?

Or a slum because they have no bills to pay?
