The police are doing what they are told to do by their bosses just like the rest of us. Take the time to thank them for being there becouse when you have people out in the open in a city environment things can get ugly.
Also they are paid very low wages to die for their jobs.
The best way to get their help is to employ them as security guards when of duty. Then when they respond they have a different frame of understanding of who they are dealing with.
They and the veterans are the 99%.
