Forum Post: The People Who Give You Your "NEWS" Are Entertainers, Not Journalists

Posted 11 years ago on Sept. 29, 2012, 12:09 p.m. EST by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

There was post on here that someone was asking their local politicians about stuff and they refused to answer of just lied. That is bullshit. And that is what our "journalists" in teh MSM are supposed to be doing.

The entire thing is a fraud. Watching MSNBC this morning, and someone mentions how every western nation is debasing currencies, and ofcourse that little weasel with the glasses just changes the subject quick. He probably doesnt even know what the other guy is talking about.

There is so much fraud in the system, at the top and the bottom. Its out of control. And where are the reports? Where the hell are the people asking the tough questions? The few that are, are on the interent, not the TV.

We get hacks like Jesse Jackson, Katie Couric, Sean Hannity and Bill ORiley. What a joke. What a shame.

The worst part, most Americans dont even know they are being played.

hannity and o reilly are commentators. their programs are not listed as " news". while abc, cbs, abc, present themselves as news programs, their anchors as journalists.

True. I may have grouped them all too much.

Pundits, and some clowns here, debating who "won" the freak show.

How pathetic. Utterly pathetic. No real questions, no real solutions.

But who won?!!!!!

What show was that on?!? Do you know who asked the question? I'm very intrigued that the question finally made it to TV at all.

Let's see how long it takes the following information/truth to be downvoted...

The White House plans to give $450 BILLION dollars

To the Muslim Brotherhood whose goal is this: (This shows Egypt's new President Morsi explaining his platform in his own words)

I'm so glad we did not get this from the MSM like the NY Times
and that it was accurately "reported" here as going "to the muslim brotherhood" and not to Egypt

propaganda is easy - honesty is hard

You do realize that Egypt's new President is a leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood?

You do also know that there is no separation of "church and state" for the Brotherhood-their religious laws are also their civic ones.

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 11 years ago

Yes I know Morsi is MB but the money would NOT be going from USA to MB
your headline is inflimatory and untrue AND I am not sure we should be giving to Egypt

islam is a political system. muslim run countries are totalitarian theocracies.

Unplug your cable box. Take it back to Time Warner. You'll feel better.

We have media conglomerates. They will NOT report on anything that might impact any of their subsidiaries. They aren't there to be actual journalists.

Further, the American people have been repeatedly surveyed for some 25 years and have stated that they are not happy with what consitutes news. For example, they have repeatedly asked for more world news. Have yet to receive it.

More Americans were killed in Libya in 2012 than the ZER0 killed in 2011 under Gaddafi.

Gaddafi and Libya was not a threat to the USA. It was disgusting to see all the anti-Iraq war people talking about the bombing of Libya like it was a God Send.

War under republicans bad. War under democrats good.

No war is bad always. We do not need to be bombing people. NATO recklessly bombed civilians in the name of saving civilians.

The USA has political prisoners too. They ever hear of the millions of non-violent citizens put in jails and prison for drugs?

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Disgusting indeed. Shameful.

I meant to reply to your video about Libya. Accidentally commented on the wrong one.
