The economy is shitty. There's no doubt about that. And the people are with you. There's no doubt about that. But the ideas you are trying to get across aren't concrete. The messages you are sending are not solidified, and people don't understand what they can do to help, or are uneasy about trusting these new ideas for our society. Its not easy for a school to simply drop all forms of affiliation with the government for something they dont know will work, and for something that hasn't proven that it truly can make a change. If you had ONE goal. Just one, and you successfully accomplished smaller goals along the way, people would follow. People would start boycotting everything but mom and pop stores and farm stands. Because they know what they're working for. They know what they're aspiring to. Its a world without the constant tug of the big producers on the wallets of consumers because they have no other choice but to buy the cheapest soup, the most convenient strawberrys. If was a reason to stand up and cheer in 2008, it was because of one of Obama's stirring "Hope" speeches. Maybe now our movement can do the same. Maybe we can make people stand and cheer for an end to the conspiring of greedy politicians and even greedier cooperate bigwigs. Except for this... The people, not the political figurehead, will deliver.

Out of this collapse must emerge a quantum leap in representative government or we will end up with the same corruption and public apathy that we had before!!!!

How about not voting for Obama again as he is one of the corrupt politicians who is responsible along with the other 536 in Washington?

There needs to be a rational 3rd independent candidate to come out that speaks for 100%, not 99%, of the public and vows to serve 1 term, no campaigning, and will spend his/her entire administration to end the corruption. A strong courageous person could do it.
