The so-called Occupy Party has a pretty pathetic "platform".
Here is some of what we need:
No ending the wars?
And I do believe that lobbyists should be kicked aside
not the kind of party that i had in mind...

I think this is a Terrible Idea! We should be working on Issues Not endorsing Politicians, who we all know will say Anything to get elected! It is my understanding they the Occupy Party has endorsed a Politician here in Michigan. I have to tell you that if this Is the case, you couldn't have picked a worse candidate to endorse. If this is what will be coming out of the Occupy Party, I just can't stand behind this group. I think if you are going to endorse politicians in other states maybe you should contact the Local Occupy before making that kind of Decision. I and others in Our Occupy are Not happy that he is now being associated with Us Here. Now we have to send out a press release to let the people in Our State know that We Do Not support this candidate!
If you want your point out there contact them
@nucleus that is true If you want to tell them what they need simply post on there forum or contact them by email
That's not how consensus works.
And I can't lie there are the minority of those idiots showing up at our protests but who are we to tell them to leave I mean cmon
Yes most people from the outside believe were a bunch of crack heads
You guys are
Can you hook me up man?
I'm keen for anything, even some crank.
Whatya got?
Sorry all I have is a good education and a job.
I'm an employer of seven people. I build houses.
Was hoping you could provide some much needed help.
The way you talk, sounds like you are on the game.
This is a good step in legitimizing the movement in the minds of the general public. I hope support for this increases now and in the future because a political party shows organization and seriousness to most people.
We can still work outside of politics on a grass-roots level. We can still work within business on a non-profit level.
To approach from all of these angles and continue to fight in all the ways that our detractors do, would ensure the continued progress, legitimacy and forward momentum of our ideas.
But the occupation party has no real political theory just based of what the movement is fighting for
@talkinboutrevolution It doesn't those are just my own personal beliefs
Where does that website use the term social democrat?
Well Now there is and I think it's great securing seats this is what i've always been going for
i was thinking "NO" party was in order.
Interesting, we'll see if it goes the way of most third parties in the past. My personal choice would have been to run Occupy candidates in Democrat primaries and take some seats that way. Now they may just pull away some votes and get more Republicans in.

I tend to support the idea of the occupy party.
I have also been toying with an idea that maybe we don't need candidates. We can just use consensus and other decision-making efforts through mail and technology, and supply call the candidate "The Occupy Party." I don't know if such an idea would work, but maybe it's a thought.
personally I am sick of the whole system
