Forum Post: The needed political revolution - as noted by Bernie Sanders. Requires more than just electing POTUS

This photo provided by Susan Willems taken July 5, 2009 shows an American flag being flown upside down, a day after it was removed by local police,  in Crivitz, Wis.

This Country "is" in Distress!

Who speaks for "The People" ?

Democratic U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, of Massachusetts speaks to a group of supporters at a rally in Kentucky

Supports the People - we need more in office like Her!

Elizabeth is not running for POTUS this time around - which is OK as we need her right where she is or someone like her if/when she ever does decide to run for POTUS.

Bernie Sanders addresses 20,000 in Boston October 3, 2015 attribution: Sanders campaign via twitter

Supporting the people for DECADES in office = constant - genuine. Need more like Him in office!

Bernie Sanders (pictured above) "is" running for POTUS on an agenda SOLIDLY "for" The People.

Who else do "you" know of - who supports the people's agenda (same as Bernie & Elizabeth) ?

Are They Currently In Office?

Are They Trying To Gain Office?

Do they speak in support of The People's agenda?

Are They Supporting Each-other in the effort of forwarding The Peoples Agenda?

If they are supporting "The Peoples" agenda - are you supporting them so that your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers are also aware of them? (got to defeat TPTB by getting around their owned and operated/scripted media)

BECAUSE: Not only do WE The People need to unite to own the political process to forward our agenda - OUR current and future representatives need to unite to forward "OUR" agenda.

I have asked Bernie (contact) to add to his campaign - that he direct the people who support his agenda to also consider the representation that they (the people) currently have in office and to contact them (current representation) to get visibly on-board - and that if those representatives (current) are not on-board and will not get on board - TO - then consider alternatives to run against them in the next election opportunity.

I have also asked this of Elizabeth (contact) to add to her public outreach.

" I included Bernie's & Elizabeth's e-mail contact (above) - so that you may also contact them - as I do not have your current representatives e-mail address, I will leave that up to you to find on a quick internet search, so that you can contact and direct them to get on-board or get out of office. "

Why Does Government Fail "The People" ?

Because We (The People) do not have enough representation in office (State as well as Federal) that represent "FOR" The People like Bernie & Elizabeth do.

Good Government "for" The People REQUIRES more than a good potus! It requires 50 states of good representation "For The People" !

Why do political revolutions fail to improve countries governments in representing "for the people" ?

Look at all of the successful uprisings of the people all around the world - in being able to throw out a corrupt government. Look at the few successes "for the people" in all of those political revolutions.

In My Opinion - There have been few successful changes in governments = few successful political revolutions "for the people" - BECAUSE - the people did not have good representatives to replace the corrupt ones they just removed from office. FURTHER - The people did not have an agenda or having had an agenda did not frame it out as to how the agenda would be carried out! THE PEOPLE MUST OWN THE FULL PROCESS OF GOVERNMENT. That means getting involved staying involved - planning and directing government!

Don't forget - there is a democratic debate on Tuesday October 13th.

Will You RSVP to watch a Bernie debate party?

Yes, I will sign up and RSVP to attend a Debate Watch Party on October 13th.

No, but I will make a contribution of $25.43 — the average donation we've received in the past week — to help pay for the materials required to pull off the events.

I thought Bernie won the debate.

He absolutely "DID" win the debate - it's just corp(se)oRAT media and pundits that say differently - And - well - yes - and establishment (cater to the wealthy) politicians like those in the DNC who are trying to push HRC down our throats.

OK - was it just my on-line live stream coverage of the debate that seemed to lose broadcast during questioning and answering about getting away from fossil fuel pollution?

I ask - because - during some question and answer periods about global warming and ending fossil fuel use - that the feed would freeze and then when it came back - the subject had moved on - then looking at the recorded program - the missing segments from the live feed were still missing.

I could understand a missing segment during the live cast - but not on the release of the recorded event.

Was it different for any of you who were able to watch the live broadcast on satellite or cable TV ?

Yes, I heard all of them fantasizing on a way to take 10 billion people into a comfortable middle class American lifestyle and not wreck the planet in the process.

That being said, I think clean energy would be a nice addition to our way of life. I just dont see the people putting it together if these are the types of lunatics they look to for leadership.

[-] 1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

Obama invested in clean energy.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago

But then blew it with his all of the above energy stance and opening new ground for fossil fuel extraction. Just sayin.

I don't believe Bernie would do the same - I believe Bernie would support an all out clean energy initiative and couple it with investing in America's rebuilding and improving our infra-structure and creation of new jobs (meaningful new jobs).

Let's face it the entire nation blew it when we let W beat Gore, we could do something like again then where would we be?

OK enough screwing around - this one looks to be THE FULL Debate coverage: http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=bernie+sanders&qft=+filterui:videoage-lt1440+filterui:duration-long&form=R5VR3&first=1#view=detail&mid=1D56020438F4869923021D56020438F486992302

Was it a great debate?

Weeeelllllll - it was a whole hell of a lot better than the rethuglican gun fight - where the clowns should all have been wearing body armor to help protect themselves from the other clowns on the stage with them - as they sniped at each-other rather than address issues.

My pick for best showing? = Bernie Sanders.

One I felt sorry for? = Webb.

Dufus? = Chafee.

Making a strong statement for clean electric energy creation = O'Malley

Saying much without saying anything of substance? = HRC (note - Hillary still male oriented = Her statement - "where a father could look at his daughter and say that she could grow-up to be president" - what happened to mom?) - winning presidency seems to be for her (as she seems to be expressing to women voters - stated quite frequently through the debate) - to be the 1st woman president.

I had an interesting conversation with some of the Bernie campaigners the other night. President of the group was a fellow occupier, but wasnt there.

They didn't realize that if the Bern gets the nod from the DNC, then they are going to shovel so much corporate money into his mouth the entire thing is then compromised.

I also explained that if people just voted their conscious and ignored the television, we could turn this thing around in a year or two.

About half said they would support him if he were running as an indie, and the other half said they would go with Hillary. Clearly the Hillary supporters are about useless, they'll vote for whoever they are told to.

Ended the conversation by stating I am a big supporter of people being active in general, and appreciated the fact they were getting involved in something.

Then I gave them all my cards and said if any of them wanted to run, Im one hell of a disrupter :)

[-] -1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

in a year or two huh? you really are stupid as shit do you think they were too?

did you tell them about how worried you were about your taxes going up?

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

Ya. A year or two. Its not difficult. I said turned around, not fixed 100%. You just return the power to the people and eliminate all DC power for the most part.

Why is it Democrats and Republicans always want to control everything?

[-] 0 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

sounds like you are wanting to run everything, a lot of that going around I guess, if you ran it all the 1% would have it all what with no taxes or government or any counter to their power....

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago

Yeah - damn democrats - wanting to raise the minimum wage - SHIT - you would have to pay your slave labor something closer to a minimum living wage! How awful for you.

I find it funny that you pretend to disparage the rethuglicans however - as - they seem to represent your values = selfism.

I bet you are a stars and bars humper - aren't you.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

Democrats love the minimum wage issue as much as the Republicans. Neither one wants to get to the real issue that is causing it. Both require suffering to maintain power.

It's been a long day. Slide into a bath and be grateful my generation is supporting you greedy fuckers in retirement.

[-] -1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 8 years ago

while you're there maybe you could pull your head from your ass and take a minute to give a damn, but I doubt it

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago

You Randian SCHMUCK.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

I didn't think you wanted to really talk deep about the minimum wage.

Better just stick to the tip of the iceberg where the politicians want you to be lol.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago

Go hump your bars and stars.

[-] 1 points by turbocharger (1756) 8 years ago

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 8 years ago
