Forum Post: The message is the medium

I haven't followed the occupy movement in-depth but I hope it is apparent to those who protest that the main thrust of the movement and the implicit message, is that as the 99% it is not necessary to make "demands". That 99 people must make demands of 1 is disingenous, it presumes that the country isn't the ownership of the 99% to begin with. And owning up to this movement will mean taking on greater measures, like widely coordinated boycotts, since the 99% IS the economy, and in the true sense of occupying it will mean assuming responsibility, along with control. I'm sure this is banal but I wanted to make the point.
