Forum Post: The Largest Campaign Contributor in the USA

Posted 12 years ago on Oct. 9, 2011, 5:58 p.m. EST by joethefarmer (21)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

The largest political campaign spender in America is not a megacorporation, such as Wal-Mart, Microsoft, or ExxonMobil.

It isn’t an industry association, like the American Bankers Association or the National Association of Realtors.

It’s not even a labor federation, like the AFL-CIO.

If you combine the campaign spending of all those entities it does not match the amount spent by the National Education Association

Fools!, they don't like to spend, but they are in a fight of TV advertisement against the Corporate/wealthy donors. Do you expect them to sit with folded hands ?

That is in total from 1990-2012. If you look at the last few years they have grown to number one. That site lets you filter by year.
