Forum Post: the key to win the campaign

Occupy Wall Street is exciting, but it can’t win unless there is a clear target and voice.

What we are going against is somebody’s greed. What are the objects of their greed? -Money and power. What are the functions of money and power? -Safety, comfort and vanity, which can be called together as interests. But, up to now, the campaign of OWS is limited into a theme- distribution of safety, comfort and vanity. So what we go against are actually what we want. Hence, it is not an essential revolution yet and is destined to fail.

The key to win the campaign is to make it a real revolution- changing the people’s sense of worth. It’s the time.

What’s a better sense of worth? It is that of the strong, the strong at ultimate values– Power inside (instead of resource occupation), Serenity (the ultimate purpose of all kinds of religions), Knowledge (not only financial ones), Reality (Necessity and Enrichment inside).

To get rid of greed itself at all is based on the effort to get rid of the conception of interest. If we can to some extent go against interest itself, we can be free to pursue ultimate values and the world would be totally updated.
