It can only be because they are themselves terrified.

Let them choke on their fear.

Am I arrogant?

The Occupy Movement has indeed changed the political dialog in this country. Boner just last week began calling for job creation - a whole new strategy in repelican thinking. Until then the strategy had been to see the job numbers stagnate in hopes of defeating the President in the next election.

Then suddenly the numbers were revised below 9% - to 8.6% - the lowest since . . . 08? 09? Whatever.

The President in a speech references the Occupy Movement and the 99% just this week.

And a Florida Congressman has a proposed 28Th Amendment before Congress that would remove the concept of corporate personhood from the rule of law.

I have not confirmed that anyone from the repelican party has indeed called for this Movement to be listed as a terror threat - but it would not surprise me.

Nor would it surprise me to discover it is yet one more attempt to mold thinking and shape behavior.

FUCK THEM ALL I say.

We are the 99.

We are One.

Occupy Your Mind.

I wouldn't put it past some of the more strange folk in the authorities to come up with such a bizarre plan. I don't think most sensible people would go along with it.

It seems to me they, the 1%, are the ones bringing terror upon the citizens of the globe.

If the level of resistance moves from pepper spray and rubber bullets to real bullets as it has in Syria the definition of the population must be that of rebels in a civil war or terrorists. This new definition then gives legitimacy to an upgrade to mortal force or suspension of civil rights to do citizens.

The historical parallel is when Julius Caesar " crossed the Rubicon" and legend said, " The die is cast" or in today's jargon we have passed the point of no return. A Roman general was forbidden by law from entering Italy at the head of his troops. This was a military threat to the civilian Senators and when Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon river he and his troops were considered traitors to the Rome and subject to death. What we see here in the new laws included in the Defense budget is permission for the American armed forces to designate American citizens within America as their own enemy by simply declaring them "terrorists". That done the "citizen" has the "rights" of an enemy soldier on the battlefield. Pepper Spray and rubber bullets are not used on the battlefield. They are not being used in Syria now. I pray it never comes to this in our nation but this new law opens the door beyond the police state to a military state. Think Fascism. People in terror will so often give up their liberty to secure their safety. The early American patriots took another road. Give me liberty or give me death. In redneck, " I just ain't skeerd!" See the article on Crossing the Rubicon at Wikipedia http://tinyurl.com/fh32g

No it's not just the GOP; because a number of Democrats also signed SB 1867 which allows military preventive detention without due process for citizens, and non-citizens. War has been declared upon the entire planet; home soil, citizen and non-citizen alike.

The names of your seditious Senators are as follow:

Ayotte (R-NH) Barrasso (R-WY) Blunt (R-MO) Boozman (R-AR) Brown (R-MA) Burr (R-NC) Casey (D-PA) Chambliss (R-GA) Coats (R-IN) Coburn (R-OK) Cochran (R-MS) Collins (R-ME) Conrad (D-ND) Corker (R-TN) Cornyn (R-TX) Crapo (R-ID) DeMint (R-SC) Enzi (R-WY) Graham (R-SC) Grassley (R-IA) Hagan (D-NC) Hatch (R-UT) Heller (R-NV) Hoeven (R-ND) Hutchison (R-TX) Inhofe (R-OK) Inouye (D-HI) Isakson (R-GA) Johanns (R-NE) Johnson (R-WI) Kohl (D-WI) Kyl (R-AZ) Landrieu (D-LA) Lee (R-UT) Levin (D-MI) Lieberman (ID-CT) Lugar (R-IN) Manchin (D-WV) McCain (R-AZ) McCaskill (D-MO) McConnell (R-KY) Menendez (D-NJ) Moran (R-KS) Nelson (D-NE) Portman (R-OH) Pryor (D-AR) Reed (D-RI) Risch (R-ID) Roberts (R-KS) Rubio (R-FL) Sessions (R-AL) Shaheen (D-NH) Shelby (R-AL) Snowe (R-ME) Stabenow (D-MI) Thune (R-SD) Toomey (R-PA) Vitter (R-LA) Whitehouse (D-RI) Wicker (R-MS)

1302 b1-b2 clarifies that citizens cannot be subjected to this law.

So, we right now, all we have is this. We have nothing where they actually say that this is what they are going to do?

It isn't that I cannot see that happening. Legislation in AZ for for-profit prisons says that is exactly right.

If this happens, it will likely be due to some act of violence perpetrated by a right-winger in the name of Occupy.

If it happens, it will happen because they can.

You provided no proof that this is true. But to you and anyone else who thinks that such behavior crosses the line, I expect to see you in each and every thread where an OWS member has designated another group-such as the TEA PARTY or conservatives or Republicans as terrorists reacting to that injustice in the same manner you would react to this injustice.
