They do this constantly. Ignore science at all costs and play up the bible as if it's the only word on this planet that matters. The bible has not a lick of science in it and is solely based in myth.

Ignoring science and making up lies as they go along actually fits well within their framework of bold face lying to get elected to public office. They hate and despise Government yet they run to get elected to a Government job. I mean, how much hypocritical can you be???

The GOP has never appealed to reason, it rather trashes it.

The GOP plays a role, the DEMS play another role. They are two sides of the same coin. Many really stupid pieces of legislation gets passed with bi-party support. They are but puppets to special interest.

See through this stage performance.

No! The dems are not the repugs. The repugnant ones overwhelming give science the shaft. There is a difference.

Geo, do you typically vote?

Or, since it's the same, it doesn't matter?

WTF

I stopped voting as I feel my vote means nothing compared to the billions of dollars poured into our government to influence it by special interests.

We have a Corporatocracy. Every representative that accepts money to run their campaign, to get into office have debts to pay to their sponsors. This goes for them all, make no mistake about it. Policy caters to industry. Dems make it a bit more palatable by throwing in a few social issues to garner votes.

Until a Constitutional Amendment (article V based) gets addressed to remove the money from our elections, outlaw lobbying, and provide term limits.... what we see going on in DC is a sham. The corruption is too deep for me to believe otherwise.

The attacks against science began with decreased NASA funding by the Carter Administration.

Agreed. Most issues are distractions that do little more than disrupt people while the 1% makes off with our money. Only a moron couldn't see the similarities between the parties, where it comes to stealing from us.
