Let's all pick a day to close our bank accts! And let's all just stop paying federal taxes....

[-] 1 points by webmouth (46) 12 years ago

That would be hard to do, but I would suggest everyone move to a local credit union. I am planning on moving my account this week from wells fargo who is almost as bad as BOA

Watch documentary 'The Money Masters'. Educate yourself on this subject, it's crucial

And yeah, end the FED. Before anything else. And expect all kinds of resistance, those guys have been playing this game for a long time and have become very good at it.. But in order for the world to survive they MUST go.

Well Said...! An entity so powerful and entrenched will be hard to conquer, but life is boring without a serious challenge.

Ha - that's the spirit! :)

Fire Obama and his friends at GE. He talks about jobs, then works with GE to lay off people and take jobs out of the country. Obama is as much the problem as all the other politicians and bankers.

Fire Chuck Schumer, Barney Frank and his butt budy Todd.

A funny look at the FED http://youtu.be/yCdlsZLNSJE

First of all, the Federal Reserve is NOT a government entity. They testify to congress, on our behalf on the condition of the economy. If you're listening to Chairman Bernanke, he notices the efforts of protesters as being, "worthy and justified"

It's called pandering and you need to educate yourself on what the Fed is and who it's owners are.

ABOLISH THE FED

[-] 1 points by webmouth (46) 12 years ago

If you controlled the money and had a limitless supply of it, do you truly think you would escape corruption and do anything on behalf of the people. Superman was a fairytale. The FED was created by a cunning organization of men who had the foresight wherewithal to take over our money supply and I would concur with wise opinion that it enabled them to take over the country in a manner of speaking. You know that

[-] 1 points by MrGuppy (2) 12 years ago

"...created by a cunning organization ..."? A Federal Bank was created by the founding fathers, and Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury, in particular ... our founding fathers: a cunning organization, indeed.

You know when you are little you fall a lot. You learn from your mistakes and make corrections so you don't get hurt again. That bank that Jefferson many wise men fought hard against caused a 72% increase in wholesale prices resulting in a 42% decrease in the average persons holdings. Time and Time again in history men create central banks. The wise such as Jefferson and Washington try to teach the ignorant but so often the ignorant do not listen. Math can not lie. The Debt created by the FED can not be paid back, they do not print the interest. Furthermore the debt they create comes from nothing. How can I owe you if you give me nothing. The paper is worthless my friend. Wake UP.

yes, the "fed" was created to protect the U.S. economy from the international bankers, and largely have done that

[-] 1 points by EndTheFedNow (692) 12 years ago

Where do you people come from? Are you this uneducated - REALLY? The Federal Reserve Bank (neither federal nor having any reserves) IS international banksters. It is the American arm of an international cabal of private financiers whose sole purpose is to fleece the entire freaking planet.

Respectfully, as being close to the situation at the FED, I disagree with the control issue. We're on your side, as distorted as all of it seems. additionally, this effort seems largely academic - what are you doing while the iron is hot. Have you closed your BofA account yet and moved your investments away from Merrill Lynch?

[-] 1 points by EndTheFedNow (692) 12 years ago

You are NOT close to anything other than being completely full of shit.

[-] 1 points by MJT (138) from Phoenix, AZ 12 years ago

Normally I like a little sweet talking - I sense you're easily agitated. Have I agitated you enough to DO something about it? Seriously fellah, we're on the same team - just get this issue out of your head and get it into your hands - go DO something about it. Close your BofA account, Stop paying your debt, what ever - since your vote at the polls hasn't worked try voting with your money.

[-] 1 points by phytojo (6) 12 years ago

to think that any organization controls the national and/or world economy is laughable

[-] 1 points by phytojo (6) 12 years ago

most people don't know the difference between the "fed" and commercial banks, much less about the repeal of glass-steagall, which was a terrible mistake...when people rail about "the fed" I can only think "they read something on the internet so it MUST be true"!

[-] 1 points by MJT (138) from Phoenix, AZ 12 years ago

Glass-Steagall should be in place and enforced. It's the least that should happen.

This effort is largely academic but that is better than militant. I am glad i am not going to have to reach for a gun to make change. Point taken, my bank is wells fargo and i think i will move it to a credit union Monday. It is a hassle being a small business owner to transfer banks but as i said, point taken. I am out of paper assets as the math dictates. I am only hording specie and using paper fed notes to pay bills as I have no option. I was inspired a bit by this group when i read this http://occupywallst.org/forum/proposed-list-of-demands-please-help-editadd-so-th/

Webmouth, the academic approach is not enough. The military approach would undermine the wisdom of the movement. Keep focused on the wisdom, but you must DO something. Close your JPM, BAC, & Well Fargo accounts - eradicate, peacefully, these bullies from the face of the earth.

[-] 1 points by webmouth (46) 12 years ago

I am with MJT!!! We will spread like fire in the drought of summer on a high wind, and nothing shall stop us.

[-] 1 points by hermies1122 (2) 12 years ago

So true, the federal reserve is a vacuum of dispair

[-] 1 points by divideandconquer (10) 12 years ago

Yup.
