Elizabeth Warren ... 2016

We need Progress

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 10 years ago

She is fantastic
With Bernie Sanders, Alan Grayson the strongest progressives in Washington.

but unless the electorate can prove that it has entered a phase of sanity in 2014 and elects enough pro-99% congresspeople to unseat JB & add enough pro-99% senators to kill the filibuster, EW will be unelectable for the Presidency in 2016

Although OWS has accomplished much, one of the reasons that it has shrunk & stalled is that too many dreamers would not compromise with reality & accept the fact that the only real way to change is

VOTING FOR ELECTABLE CANDIDATES

accept the fact that the only real way to change is VOTING FOR ELECTABLE CANDIDATES

I Agree.... to a point.... I feel it is better to promote this as...

The Easiest way to change is incorporate BOTH ... VOTING FOR ELECTABLE CANDIDATES and new progressive democracy driven social, economic & watch dog legislation & systems...

or something like that ?

Yes - I should not have said "only"
I should have said "best"
clearly, OWS actions pushed against the crapitalists & the kochs, etc

Candidates are as electable to the degree the population wants to get involved. When you have less than 1% of the population working on campaigns, and 80% of those are for the pre selected establishment parties, its kind of predictable what we get.

Let the committee continue its investigation. Trevon Martin gets more attention than Christopher Stevens and three Navy SEALs. If Hillary gets the ax, it will not be so bad. Hillary has gone far beyond her capabilities anyway.

"Hillary has gone far beyond her capabilities anyway."
That's why her approval rating is so low.
Who do you want to run against her in 2016?

Let me put my opinion of Hillary this way....I would have voted for Obama in the 2008 primary. As nutty as I believe Obama's views are, I believed at the time that they were heart-felt. I believed that Hillary was only after power and she has shown an unfortunate ineptitude when it came to handling it.
