Here's an idea. WE the 99% don't seem to matter to the big corporations, to the White House or the lawmakers in Congress, so why should we participate in anything that helps them continue the "circle of lies". Why don't WE boycott voting this election? No Say, No Vote! since we don't have a say in anything and we go completely ignored, then guess what...no vote. No Say, No Vote!
Too much money in politics now so your solution is to give the money all the say? The problem has always been that too many people sit out elections now. Get informed and get involved.
Yeah, you do that. Especially if you are Republican.
Cuz Obama's been so effective in office. Ha yeahhhhh.... Not really.
It's kind of a double edge sword. If you vote our government will continue to screw over the American citizens in favor of Corporate America. If you don't vote Republicans / Corporate America will gain even more control over this country. There are some dark times ahead and as much as i love and support the OWS movement... It's going to take a lot more then banging on drums for us to get money to release it's grip on America.
That's ridiculous; essentially if 99% of this country doesn't vote then the 1% that does now has a clear mandate to do whatever the fuck they want with this country. On the contrary, we need to get as many people as we can to the polls because only then can we claim justification of our demands for change.
The Republicans are praying that this is what will happen and then they take it all. A suggestion that would insure the total defeat of the 99%.
Awesome I love it. As the leader of OWS I support this 99% (clever huh). I think instead of voting on election day we should go sit in a park with a sign that says OCCUPY that will show that rotten 1% who is boss.
