Forum Post: The 99% deposit bank.

Tomorrow is October 15th, and here in France every city has organized some big manifestations.

I would just like to submit OWS an idea : creating our OWN deposit bank. This bank could be ruled by representatives elected democratically by us, and often renewed. This could be a deposit-only bank (to start with...). This could permit us to retire our money from THEIR banks (the 1% official banks). Let's say that if at east a million people would do that all across the world, they would be in a big mess !

We, the 99%, by organizing ourselves in an alternative community, can prove the 1% that we DON'T NEED THEM, as I'm pretty sure that THEY NEED US to keep up with their PROFITS !
