Perhaps there should be a boycott of this film? I suppose at the very least, people will see it or hear about it and then go and hit up the web afterwards. Of course, Google and Microsoft have probably buried the good stuff so far down its a futile effort at this point.

Pretty much every movie ever produced and now add in TV programs are propaganda to achieve certain results. Even Cowboys in black hats or white hats. Or Cagney shoving a grapefruit into a woman's face.
Unfortunately very few movies or shows have ever been done to promote a healthy society in a healthy world. Most of "those" being kept out of mainstream viewing.
I agree up to a point. Before Hollywood moved to California, it was in NYC. The move was an attempt to prevent government from dictating morals but.......by self censorship. To be fair, it seems to be more about instituting morals for the lower classes because lord knows that you could never be white enough. Even with the propaganda in certain movies there was still enough out there for the cinema to showcase talent. There is a huge difference between pre Hays Code and after it was fully implemented. It hasn't been until the last 25 years, and definitely the last 10, that it is overwhelmingly and undeniably propaganda.
Too, I definitely agree with the smaller art of black hat/white hat cowboy propaganda or the role of other by gender, sexual orientation, nationality or race.
And today we have positive propaganda For the Not Your Police Department = Blue Bloods
And for HS and NSA and CIA and FBI we have = NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles

Exactly. It will all benefit you. It is actually a semi decent show if you can forget that someone's social security number is the alert. I realize that life pretty much boils down to just how paranoid are you today?! I just happen to be paranoid every time that show comes on.

And there you are - the tools are not necessarily bad - it is how the tools are used and who is using them. I never watch the so called reality shows. The cops and robbers shows? All the time - generally thinking sarcastic thoughts about the intent of the programs and the reality they have nothing to do with.
