I hear many people say that they do not understand what it is that OWS is all about. That there is no unified message and the movement is hard to get behind because it does not resonate. As someone who completely supports OWS, I am sad to say that I must agree with those who don't know what it is we are trying to accomplish. Yes, we want to stop corporate greed & government corruption. Yes we want to restore equality & social justice. But how? This is where the movements message becomes unclear. If we had a single banner to hang all of our woes under, then people could better understand why this is so important. Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt created a 2nd Bill of Rights which would secure our liberties and freedom, and perfectly joins all of the issues together and unites everyone's frustration into a razor sharp point. WE MUST DEMAND THAT CONGRESS ENACT F.D.R.'S 2ND BILL OF RIGHTS! In this election year, we have complete power to remake our government, our country and finally put an end to social & economic inequality & injustice by making this the template for The Revolution. We must flood the media with this message . . .2nd Bill of Rights. Then it will be easy for anyone to understand OWS and lend their support. Thank you for what you are doing, please don't stop. Power to the People!

These people created a template for "Revolution 2.0" in 2006 and promote a Direct Democracy. I support them because it truly does give Power to the People! Take a look:

                              SECOND BILL OF RIGHTS

The foundation of Revolution 2.0 contains the most important human rights movement of our time. The core and purpose of the movement is based on the addition of a second bill of rights. Here are the main points of the second bill of rights that President Franklin D. Roosevelt spoke of in a 1944 speech. Unfortunately, our present form of government cannot support the second bill of rights. It would bankrupt us overnight. The second bill of rights can easily be supported with a modern government and today's technology. So we use an enhanced version of the second bill of rights as a baseline to set the principals and building blocks for building a new and better government that truly serves the interests, expectations and well being of the American people.

The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation.

The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation.

The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living.

The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad.

The right of every family to a decent home.

The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health.

The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment.

The right to be freely retrained when the system can no longer provide work in your given field.

The right to retain all pay and benefits when work is no longer available; due to advancements in technology or any other reason.

The right to online privacy and protection under a Digital Bill of Rights.

And finally, the right to a good education.

"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress & the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution." ~ Abraham Lincoln ~

Cheers!

The first Bill of Rights was for all of the people. Your 2nd Bill of Rights is not. Your 2nd BoR is about what YOU want, not what we were given 200+ years ago.
