Texas executor of the non compos mentis.

Prisoners in Texas jails have been tightening their belts as the state cuts back on weekend lunches to save money.

Since April, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice has scaled back on weekend meals to two per day, eliminating lunch.

I can't believe we would jail non-violent offenders. Then due to shortfalls in revenue the state cuts their meals instead of just letting them out on parole.

What is up in America these days. We have become a fascist state. Under the leadership of a tyrannical elite. When will it stop? When will freedom again be the rule instead of the exception?

Yes, when will we be free to commit crimes in Texas and still be allowed to eat lunch on weekend at the pen if we get caught and convicted! Oh the humanity!
Lets let all the non violent offenders out instead of cutting meals. Let us let go the burglers, extortionist, frauds, and white collar criminals. Only then will we defeat the tyrannical elite, and get our free lunch back!

Kentucky just decriminalized marijuana possession. Because they realized the government can't afford to continue warehousing people to the tune of over $40,000 per person per year. The cost of feeding an inmate is 3% of the total cost. It seems that if they truly wanted to make a difference then they would look in other places to cut costs.

In which program would cutting result in the most savings? Its like when the Republicans talk about cutting food stamps which amounts to 1% of the federal budget and never mention the defense spending which accounts for over 50%.

i thought you the one with the good ideas, so i was taking your comment at face value. I appologize. Now that i see this is not something you are capable of doing yourself have a good day sir.

but he has a good idea, how can we make a man made fishery with a sustained growth rate in prison.

we have our test subjects in prisons now. lets use each one as a model of civilazation. introduce trackable money and see how it's used over time. since folks will cycle in and out faster due to loss of life it will in time create it's own set of laws. and we can introduce stimulas as needed with , food issues , work issues , space issues , religion issues , making arms , ect until it reachs a balance of perfection better than the outside world. ask them what tools do you want in there . we will give you everything as long as you stay in side the walls, on exit from your sentance you would recieve a payment for your services of (whever we spend now per day) + 10% when we just give you a checkbook and want.

Haha, he did seem to take pride in having the highest execution rate in America.

I have to wonder if 10000 Americans are wrongfully imprisoned each year. How many are wrongfully executed?
