How will you move from a protest movement to a political movement?

Right now the movement is dismissed as a hippie type movement comprised of disaffected young people. I am a forty six year old upper middle class supporter. How will you co-opt me?

In democracies where decisions are made by the group, actions are still relegated to individuals. What actions will be will individuals be asked to take? Who will ask them?

Why hasn’t a leader emerged from the organizers of the movement? Every movement needs a leader, even democratic movements. I see there’s a lot of organization that has taken place. Somebody needs develop the vision and roadmap for the future. A leader will do these things and people will follow them.

Where is the political voice of the organization? Why hasn’t somebody offered up a resolution for the organization to vote on? To propose a resolution and ask mainstream America to vote on it would give voice to the organization. A voice is needed to advance the debate and broaden the movement.

Would you rather play Simon Says or create the change you want to see?
