Yesterday the Huffington post reported that the Senate voted on the National Defense Act. It is the bill that usually allows funding for the military. This time they added a change that would allow the military to indefinatly detain American Citizens suspected of terrorism, without trial.
It is very scary, and would basically allow a witch hunt. It takes away a consistitional right of habius corpus. Please contact Obama and tell him to veto. There are also some online petitions on change.org.
