Romney supports that shit too and plans to continue that shit too.

Romney and Obama = A Happy Military Industrial Complex, A Happy Boeing, A Happy Raytheon, A Happy KBR, And A Happy Goldman Sachs.

Pay no attention to people like Jill Stein, Rocky Anderson, and Gary Johnson.

Also since you linked Lew Rockwell I must point out that Laissez-faire economics is a terrible idea... if you thought outsourcing was bad now.... If you thought wages were stagnant now.... if you thought people lacked benefits now... if you thought unions were under attack now... do you want to bring Chinese factory labor standards to America? Maybe we can start putting suicide safety nets around American factories too.

Labor standards are necessary. Applying American labor standards to trade agreements overseas would bring jobs back to America.

Yes, Romney does. Only a fool would vote for Obamney. And only a sucker would vote for 3rd parties, since they'd do the same thing, or they'd get absorbed by established interests just the same.

So, according to your analysis of Free Market Economics, it would STILL be cheaper, if we removed tariffs and regulations to ship something ALL THE WAY FROM CHINA (and possibly ship it there to start), then to just make it here? Sorry, that just doesn't make any sense. You realize that shipping is very expensive, right? People aren't moving their countries overseas because of the free market, they're moving their countries overseas because they cannot afford to pay all the taxes, insurance, and regulations that it costs to do business in the USA.

“It is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a ‘dismal science.’ But it is totally irresponsible to have a loud and vociferous opinion on economic subjects while remaining in this state of ignorance.” -MR

Then why do so many businesses still hold operations in America? They're doing fine.

Companies outsource because of the cheap labor and sure some cheaper tax breaks. They don't do it because otherwise they'd be out of business. If that was the case every single American based business would have been closed and shut down and bankrupt years ago. but that is not happening. they do it out of greed.

This is where your argument doesn't make sense. Also no company is going to leave the American market where they can still profit.

Apply american labor standards to trade agreement and bring jobs back to America.

They're doing fine? The economy is doing fine? Banks, oil companies, and insurance companies are the only ones making record profits. And all of these cartels are directly sponsored by the government.

To say that businesses are doing fine, and they're just moving overseas for convenience is evidenced by what? Levi's shut down their jean factories here because of pressured contracts from Wal-Mart, not for convenience. And there's plenty more..

Shhhh....now go back to sleep...

I guess fine wasn't the right term to use there. But in regards to taxing the rich and having regulations... that is not the problem.

Businesses are hurting because of the "cutbacks for profits" theory that took consumers out of the consumer based economy. Deregulation that helped foster the financial collapse and allowed banks to essentially gamble with people's money. among other reasons like a corrupt monetary policy and government and more.

And the answer is?

[-] 0 points by thoreau42 (595) 11 years ago

1) don't vote.

2) learn about how the world works outside the democrat/republican shell game

3) get invested in people and your local community. learn about local food and alternative currencies, etc.

1) that is not what most people died for on these shores.. 2) been there, done that, then the weak masses let Corporate America take over instead. 3) that was before Monsanto......and corporate America

Yours sound like the type of organizational community existence before the arrival of the Europeans in most other countries...

Now, why does that not surprise me!

The thing with all parties/politcal bodies is that they ALWAYS become corrupted, which is why its up to the people to keep an eye on them and replace them as needed.

Yes, third parties would become corrupted. thats a given. But leaving a group in there for 150+years is just plain idiocy. Switch it up.

That's what I tell people too.

"Bro, the problem isn't that you've got brain cancer. The problem is that you have brain cancer for TOO LONG! You just gotta switch it up! Get those tumors to move into your lung or something, then you'll be good."
