Here we go again - more "youth violence" by an individual who has a problem with the people he associates with.

So I guess we need to start restricting people from owning exacto knives. Or should we put metal detectors at the entrances of all collge campuses and state schools?

Nah, we need more gun control - that will stop the "violent youth" in todays soiety. Really?

What SPN and its Think Tanks Do

SPN's innocuous-sounding purpose, according to its by-laws, is to "assist in organizing, developing and raising funds for institutes throughout the United States whose purpose is the promotion of authoritative ideas and research studies on state and local public policy issues in the public interest."[1] When SPN founder Thomas A. Roe was asked in an interview about his role in encouraging the formation of state think tanks across the country, he recalled a mid-1980's conversation he had with fellow wealthy conservative donor and Heritage Foundation trustee Robert Krieble, in which he allegedly said, "You capture the Soviet Union -- I'm going to capture the states."[2] SPN's founding executive director, Lamm, is quoted in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as calling what think tanks in the network do "constructive troublemaking."[3]

You can’t legally carry a firearm on college campuses in Texas. Maybe if someone could have stopped the bad guy. However, the Texas legislature is poised to allow legal conceal carry of college campuses.

I see the issue not so much as "being able to carry a firearm on campus" as much as I see a "youth violence mental" problem in this country.

We could arm ourselves to the teeth but in the end crazies will do what intend to do and that's where the problem is.

Good idea.

Toss out all your guns!! Or at least all your bullets.

Do you shoot a lot?

As a matter of fact I don't - sold all my firearms so that I could fall in lockstep with the rest of those who don't want anyone to own firearms.

Good for you. I still have mine.

Now......Go away, or find something meaningful and in support to say.

Thank you.
