I'm running into a lot of flat out false information on this forum, it is giving a twisted view of reality. I have read over dozens of posts that are flat out false, be it on purpose or out of ignorance.
I challenge those who post statistics to also link to your sources. You can get a lot of good information from the IRS website here: http://www.irs.gov/taxstats/index.html
You may be surprised to see how much of the information here is false.
I head 55% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
I wouldn't doubt it, half of the hard numbers I see here don't hold up to what I research on the irs.gov website...
oops I just made up that "half of the numbers" comment, this isn't an actual statistic. But really, more of the numbers I have researched I found to be different than what I find in the irs statistics.
For example I'm in a discussion at the link below where the person claims that the statistic of 47% don't pay taxes is only this way because it includes children, flat out false as can be found on the irs website.

I'm really sick of all the lies and misinformation here, great movement people, if you get your way we'll have a delusional society full of sociopath liars.
