Originally I was all for the movement but now I'm not sure if this is going in the right direction. Has this become about whether people can camp where they want, or is this about unbridled greed?

You're falling into the trap of the media, which is owned by fat cats. Please study your history and look at the protest of the 60's and what they did wrong as well as right. Most importantly, the movement needs viable solutions to the disparity between rich and poor, not whether you have the right to camp somewhere. Do things legally. If a city says be out by 9 pm, do so. Fighting the cops (who probably feel the same way you do) is fodder for the 1%. They're probably up in their ivory towers thinking, "This too shall pass." and then laugh all the way to the bank - they own.

Again, please study your history and learn from it! Look at the General Strike of the early 50's, it worked! We were gearing up for the Korean War and Truman was begging industry to do so, but they said no, take off the ceiling for profits and, oh by the way, freeze the workers wages. The railroad workers went out first, then the truck drivers (stopping freight hurts) then even small non-union shops walked out. Before the Strike even had a chance to take hold on the west coast, capitalist were starting to bow down. The 50's thus brought in good pensions, health care insurance and much better wages for the average American. Of course they've been chipping away at those gains since then.

1) Keep it legal. Self police and get the riff-raff and agitators and anarchist out 2) Get better organized with a 'think tank' to create viable solutions. We need a market system but one that benefits ALL. 3) Keep it respectable. People are turned off by confrontations with cops and unsanitary conditions as well as tax dollars going to pay cops overtime. 4) Consider a national march on Washington, its helped before, rather than individual cities. 5) Study, study, study history and learn from it!

Peace and prosperity to ALL Guy

"Self police and get the riff-raff and agitators and anarchist out"

You compare the anarchists with the riff-raff and agitators? You want the anarchists out? They started the whole show for you! What are you talking about?

Again, study your history! Anarchist typically don't care about 'the cause' as much as they want to create chaos and destruction. Look at the WTO riots in Seattle in '99. Breaking windows and turning over cars did NOTHING positive for the protest but give it a bad name. Nixon and the FBI PAID agitators to burn ROTC buildings to make the anti-war demonstrators look like a bunch of hoodlums to the American people and the war dragged on. Try putting flowers in the gun barrels of the police like Alyson Krause, who was killed a day later by our National Guard in May of 1970. Now that made a bigger statement than all the draft card burning and ROTC burnings for years before it.

The riff-raff are the drug addicts and criminals that prey on the protesters and muddle the message, which should not be about 'camping rights'.

Go to the library and STUDY history instead of throwing rocks to get your face on TV.

Iv'e studied history more than you my fast feathered friend. What about the anarchies in last century Spain which have influenced Occupy through Graeber? Were they not peaceful? You seem to think anarchy = violence.
