Place a small votive candle on the ground. Place two bricks on either side. Set a cast iron skillet lid on top of the bricks. Take off your shoes and stand on the lid.

Protest in the snow with hot little toes!
(or warm hands)

Pass it along, make it a culture...

OCCUPY WINTER

They may take our generators, but we can make candles.

send votives,

It's easier and more effective to just make a Hobo stove.

Though not as smoky and I suspect candles will last longer at a protest than hobo stoves.

They don't get all that smokey. If you use hard wood it wont smoke much at all. Also, you never put fire of any type in a tent. You put it next to the tent so the heat radiates and warms the tent.

They took your generators because you're not allowed to have them without a permit, not for some personal vendetta.

Where do I get a candle permit? I'm sure there is a fee.

Corporations took your generators away and Big Money just killed your dog.
