what would it take to start our own news paper or community cable channel. People buy news papers on there way to work or school every day reading them on the train or buses, Unfortunately it's usually filled with lies and propaganda. I know that people would love to have actual facts present in front of them on a daily or even weekly basis.

The media abandoned the occupy movement and only reports if they have negative news. We cant force them to do anything because it belongs to them so why not try to develop our own.

We will not be able to do this on our own because we cant be the 99% if 90% of the people don't know. The question is how? Do you have any ideas!!

When the followers start to lead the leaders will follow

There is a photographic archive. Convert the photographs to a graphic novel for each of the local groups and make them available free on the individual occupy website.

The post has merit, however, there are several points to consider.

1) How wide will the distribution be? Local? Regional? National?

2) How do you fund the costs of printing and delivery to outlets?

3) How will conveyance into the hands of readers occur? Sidewalk handouts? Mailing lists? Will stores that carry newspapers today accept a "radical" publication?

The above is intended only as a starting point. There are many logistical considerations to successfully distributing a newspaper to the public. That is why the movement has, so far, relied on the Internet to convey its message.
