I'm 100% with you guys. My food stamps doesn't even kind of cover my grocery bills; my boyfriend JUST found a minimum wage job after searching for employment for a year; I've been denied temporary assistance because I MAKE TOO LITTLE (if that makes ANY sense, which it doesn't). I think we need to try to spread this protest to everywhere we can across the US. I'm currently staying in a little hick town - but I promise I'll be walking around with a sign on my back.

Your food stamps don't even cover your grocery bills? Well stop shopping at whole foods and start buying cheaper groceries that you could afford. Maybe instead of buying coke you buy the generic super market brand? Maybe you start looking for savings in the weekly penny saver and cut out coupons? Your boyfriend needs to make himself more marketable and give companies a reason to hire him. I'm sorry I just do not feel sorry for you. I've raised 3 kids while living on gov't assistance for 2 years. During those 2 years I was going to a community college while working 2 jobs. After a while I was able to get a degree and a decent job. Guess what I did after that??? I went back to college and got another degree and got an even better job. While I am not saying that simply having a degree guarantees you a job but the point of this post is to say that you need to make sacrifices. Get rid of the cell phone and internet and BOOM your saving yourself over $100 a month. Those are luxuries that you could do without. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and make your self useful. Now, onto OWS I agree that the system needs to change. The corporate bailouts and these companies that pay next to nothing in taxes is a huge problem. It needs to stop. However, I do not think that capitalism is at fault here. It is our elected officials that allow it to happen. The tax code needs to be revamped so that everyone is paying their fair share.

give the URL of this forum and occupy boston and so on via facebook, twitter so more people can come from the standby program to real action. Don,t let the TV betray you because all important mainstream media is in the hand of the banksters. You have to find out your own reliable indipendent information sources. Write e mail templates with information you find important on that issue and send it to all your friends and co workers. So you have the change to spread the information rapidly. I prepare a project in spanish because there a many spanish speakers in the world. (Si tiene una pregunta acerca del problema que tenemos actualmente no dude en contactarme).
