A recent post in Global Research here, http://globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=27479 headlined: A Chill Descends On Occupy Wall Street; "The Leaders of the allegedly Leaderless Movement" critiques almost every aspect of the participants. Most seriously, it alleges a coup of leaders who will control $500,000 donated, without using the GA to define where and how the money will be allocated. Could someone please address these issues? Thank you.

It's a troubling article, the more so if one reads the author's blog; the globalresearch.ca post is the third in a three-part series. I followed the live twitter feed on the first Spokes Council proposal, when it was voted down, and this article amplifies the concerns I had then. Since we have a completely broken electoral system, I don't view efficient decision making as paramount; the experience of actually collaborating in a self-organized context is paramount, and only when "all walks of life" can share that experience will the movement thrive. What would help clarify things, for me, is not an attack on the author, just to pre-empt that, but examples of where the Spokes structure has worked in the past. I'm saying this as a citizen who, for the first time in 10 years, is feeling hope. Don't let us down!
