Forum Post: SpaceFinder - A software designed to help protesters find spaces to Occupy

I'm working on a simple website application that uses Google maps to identify empty spaces like parks and abandoned buildings for protesters to reclaim as their own.

Next summer, Occupy will be all about creating new homes for its protesters and I think we should be ready with the right tools. If you walk around your neighborhood and notice an abandoned factory just waiting to be taken over, take note of its address.

I'd like to get a temperature check on this idea, and your input if you have criticism or suggestions. Also, if you have a server to host the application let me know.
